The DSR - Episode 4x04 - Upgrade

I was told that I’d be seeing more of Owen in this episode… and I was definitely impressed. I’d even go as far as saying that this was my favorite episode of the season so far, even though it is very early to say something is your favorite. After these past 2 episodes, I’m most interested in Owen out of the entire cast.

Owen saving the day was great. He was constantly put down, but he fought through and eventually prevailed. He showed his co-workers who is boss. His relationship with Sara flourished in this episode and I think that they’re definitely a great couple. I’m interested in seeing them hook up later down the road, even though they already appear to be an item.

This is really the first standalone episode so far this season and I really enjoyed. Stephen was awesome and definitely crazy in the head. He got a little annoying by the end of the episode, but nonetheless, he was well-written and a mostly an enjoyable guest star.

I hate to point this out in my reviews, but something that really irked me in this episode were typos. There were more than usual, by far. I’m not used to seeing so many in a script, DSR especially, but I just had to point it out for me to stop thinking about it.

I liked our little break from Jai, Rayen, and Ethan in this episode. While all three are still enjoyable characters in The DSR, it’s always nice to get a little break, from anybody. I am interested to see what will come of Jai in jail and I’m also still wondering how Rayen and Ethan will factor into this season’s story now that they have been taken away from our team.

All in all, I enjoyed this episode and I was very happy to see the episode going a direction that was centered on the Pulse (which is what these past 3 episodes have been all about). I can’t wait to get to the rest of the season. I just wish I could be insanely fast and get things all read in a day, but alas, it can’t be done.

Owen and Sara are going to have a relationship form in the next few episodes. After all, I can already see it brewing. I think that those two are absolutely great together.

The DSR - Episode 4x03 - Pulse

After taking a little break from The DSR to read a few other series here at MZP, I came back to read the third episode of the season and thought… Why in the hell did I ever take a break from this amazing series? I was very impressed with this episode and I think that only ensures that I’ll be reading more frequently from here on out.

Jai getting arrested is absolutely insane. He obviously didn’t murder anybody, and it appears that the only reason he was ‘framed’ was to make it so that Kendall didn’t have anyone. Ethan is gone, so is Jai. While he doesn’t seem completely alone at this point, he has lost some of his more major counterparts. I hope that he’ll get them both back sometime soon.

I’ve never really liked Hobbes from the moment that he was introduced to us. It just seemed like he didn’t like Kendall and that might have been why he wanted to get rid of the DSR. Now it’s quite obvious that he is working on the inside and is up to no good. I hope that when and if he is caught, he gets put in his place.

Ethan seems to like his new position in the government. While Kendall is bitter, Ethan made the decision that would further develop his career. After all, in life, if a big decision like that came around out of left field, wouldn’t we take it too? I know I sure would. Just because he has a different line of work, though, doesn’t mean he can’t still keep in touch with his ‘friends’ over at the DSR… I mean Langley.

Owen is already growing on me. It was a great job casting Nathan Fillion as Owen. I love Nathan Fillion and I feel like he is perfect for the role. I know that he is a series regular this season, so it’ll be interesting to see what role that he’ll play in the rest of the season and possibly beyond.

All in all, I’m quite angry with myself that I ever took a break from reading this incredible series. Not only is there an amazing story in The DSR, but there is also a very high caliber of writing and that is always a huge plus. I can’t to read on and hopefully finish up the season, and even the series, soon.

Afterlife - Episode 1x10 - Sunset

After reading the penultimate episode of the season… I can’t wait to read the finale! After the previous episode disappointed me, this one made up for it and more. I’ll even go so far as to say that this was my favorite episode so far this season!

I enjoyed our little peak into Rachel’s past in this episode. Not only did we just get to see how twisted her life was, we also got to see the Shadow Man. I never saw the Shadow Man killing Rachel coming. It was completely unexpected. By then, I had completely forgotten that she would have had to die to be in the Afterlife in the first place. I hope that we’ll see the Shadow Man again though, as his motives are definitely mysterious.

The black rain seems insanely freaky. I don’t know what I’d do if I were to experience something like that. It looks like Jonathan and Aurora need to come up with a plan, and fast. It was interesting that Aurora didn’t experience much trouble with the darkness in this episode. I wonder what will come of it in the finale, assuming that this mystery doesn’t carry over to next season.

Meanwhile, Kate and Lianna are back in town having to see this black rain. I could see chaos ensuing in the town amongst the people that are there. I also wonder if there will be any form of attack now that it seems like it will always be dark. These two could play a large role in the finale, but more on that in my next theory.

All in all, I am very excited to get to read this finale. This has been one hell of a season. It hasn’t had many faults and the bear has been set pretty high throughout. Let me just say that after this episode, the bar has been raised even higher. This finale has a lot to live up to, so hopefully it’ll be just as good as I hope it will be.

Jonathan and Aurora will have to come up with a crazy plan to stop all of the creatures. I think that Kate and Lianna may play a fairly large role in keeping other people safe and surviving. Things have hit its climax, so it’s time to see who stands out and who crumbles under the pressure and fear.

Afterlife - Episode 1x09 - The Cure

I will get my slight disappointment out of the way now. This is not my favorite episode of the season, by far. I personally feel that it was one of the weakest. Don’t get me wrong, the episode and story were still good and we still had a few mysteries, but I just feel it didn’t have that extra little something that makes me feel like it was one of those amazing and kick-ass episodes.

I felt like the episode dragged at times. The beginning was a great, a few scenes in the middle were good, and the ending was good. We had a few mysteries (such as, who was Jonathan speaking with). Trias being killed by Aurora was another highlight. We didn’t get nearly the amount of action throughout that we had gotten in the past few episodes, so maybe that is was I feel was lacking.

The darkness within Aurora is developing more and more and it keeps getting more intriguing as time goes on. It appears that she can’t be hurt anymore, as her wound healed during her fight with Trias. Apparently she’ll eventually give in to the darkness, but even though she seems to not be troubled quite as much by the visions, she still doesn’t seem to have given in. I’m interested to see what will happen if she gives in, although I’m still thinking that it’ll be stopped somehow.

And we also got to see Lianna and her family again in this episode. I really liked seeing her about to kill Aurora, but then ultimately being stopped by Nera. I get the feeling that this won’t be the last that we see of the family. I definitely wanting to know what role they’ll play if we ever see them again (and since they don’t appear to have left, maybe we’ll see them again soon, rather than later).

Despite this, in my opinion, being weaker than other episodes this season, it was still very well written and is still much better than other scripts that I’ve read. I hope that the bar that has been set will be met by the last two episodes. That way, I’ll be even more pumped to read on into Season 2.

Nera is going to also have something to do with getting rid of the darkness in Aurora, or at least stopping Aurora from giving into it.

Afterlife - Episode 1x08 - Murder (Part 2)

What a kick-ass episode! While I wasn’t as into this episode as others, it was still a very well written episode that featured a heavy amount of action. I figured that we would see a lot of action this episode; after all, there isn’t much of a way to outsmart people in this world.

One of the coolest things that I’ll remember for quite a while was Jonathan putting the oil on his sword and using that to win a fight with Rachel, but also to rescue Aurora. It was a very cool idea (definitely better than the boot, which was also good) and as I said, I’ll remember those scenes for quite a while.

Jonathan also gets another enemy in this episode. I swear, there can’t be an episode of Afterlife without having at least one enemy featured. First it was Marcus the Cutter, then we had Trias, and now we have the Lord of Murder. As interesting of a character that Trias was, I am happy that we got a break for a new villain. The Lord of Murder is definitely someone that should be feared and it’ll be cool to see how Jonathan (and possibly Aurora) will deal with him later on down the road.

I am again disappointed by a death in this episode. Marius was another good guest star and seemed to be a great father figure for Kate. I can now see another reason why this two-part episode was titled ‘Murder’.

Kate seems to have become more central to the show over the past few episodes. As I’ve already said, I really like her, so I hope that we’ll continue to see more of her as the show continues. (Unless she’s going to be killed off too, just like my other favorite guest stars!!!!!)

The darkness in Aurora has the potential to turn into something very crazy. Aurora is obviously fighting whatever is inside of her, but the question is whether Aurora will prevail or not. More on that in my next theory though.

Only 3 episodes left to read and then I’ll be finished with Season 1! I can’t wait to get to reading them!

I believe that Jonathan will play a key role in getting rid of whatever that darkness is that’s inside of Aurora. If he doesn’t, I get the feeling that things may turn out very, very bad.

Afterlife - Episode 1x07 - Murder (Part 1)

The first part of this two-part episode of Afterlife failed to disappoint. The scenes didn’t miss a beat and, like usual when I read this great series, I read it straight through without stopping. When I can read straight through an episode and not even get a drink or anything, then you know that you succeeded in keeping the story interesting for the reader.

First off, I’m going to kill somebody!! How, just how, could you kill Vergil?? For me, he was my favorite guest star that has been in Afterlife so far, so for him to just die… leaves me for at a complete loss for words. Although it had been mentioned in the last episode that he would die eventually, I did feel like he died pretty quickly. We go to that scene and he interjects a few things and then just dies. I wish more time would have been devoted to his death. Now I have to hope that a certain somebody will be resurrected…

This episode was a little more intricate and confusing then the past 6 episodes of the series. We had a lot of new things that we were introduced to. So the Lord of Murder has basically captured Aurora and Aurora has been taken over by Rachel (who nearly killed Aurora in the first place). I had a feeling something was up after Aurora and Jonathan ‘got it on’. I just never would have thought that Aurora wasn’t actually… Aurora. Things are getting really interesting and I think it’s all going to lead up to something even bigger at the end of the season.

I really like that we’re seeing more of Marius and Kate now. Hopefully they’ll survive their current predicament and keep playing into the story.

I can’t wait to see how this two-part episode ends. I hope that we’ll get some more answers on the Lord of Murder before the next episode ends. I also can’t wait to see what direction things will go as we get even closer to the finale.

I get the feeling that Jonathan will be Aurora’s savior. Rachel (Aurora) may end up acting strangely around him and then Jonathan will realize that something very bad is going on. I get the feeling that this might be resolved in the next episode (part 2). I guess I’ll just have to wait and see…

Afterlife - Episode 1x06 - Escape

Aurora and Jonathan finally reunite! I’ve been waiting for this since the first episode, and what was given was well worth the wait!

The Teaser definitely teased me in this episode. I ran straight through the entire episode without taking a single break. I’m the type of reader that enjoys it when we get a glimpse further into the episode right off the bat. While other reader might not like that, for me, it gets me more interested into seeing how they get there.

Aurora and Jonathan’s battle in the arena was, in a word, epic. Episode after episode, I love the action sequences more and more. Trias being convinced by Vergil to make them fight just goes to show how devious Trias is. Before killing them, he wanted to see some action first. He might think that Aurora is heartless (and I agree), but so is he.

I enjoyed seeing Marius and Kate again. The hooded figures were suspicious and I had a feeling that it would be then, but it was still awesome that they were revealed to us right when the real battle began. Talk about coming out with a bang!

Then, we have a little mystery that had gone unnoticed. All this time, I’ve simply assumed that the Reaver was a very fast horse. But, I get the feeling that that had been the intention all along. Turns out, the Reaver is a big ass airship. Using the Reaver to their advantage is great, but the danger is looming that the airship is going to crash. It’ll be interesting to see what Aurora, Jonathan, and Vergil do to avoid dying.

Speaking of death, I will kill somebody if Vergil dies. This happens to me in a lot of series that I read (i.e. Shackles), where my favorite guest star will be killed. Vergil is by far my favorite that we’ve seen so far and I can only hope that something will be done that will keep him alive. Will I stop reading if he dies? No. But will I have a word or two for a certain showrunner? Maybe…

All in all, this was another very solid episode of Afterlife. In fact, I’ll even say that this was the strongest episode and my favorite, so far. Keep it up!

Afterlife - Episode 1x05 - High

After a little break from reading the series, I must admit that I doubt I’ll be taking anymore anytime soon. Afterlife continues to impress me in every way. The dialogue is some the best that I’ve ever read in any virtual series. The actions scenes are another great highlight and something that I’m beginning to love to read more and more each time. Plus, the great story of Afterlife obviously helps.

Once again, we get a pure Aurora episode. No Jonathan. In the past, I’ve been slightly disappointed by this, as Jonathan was my favorite character… up until now. This episode has made me fall in love with Aurora and her story. What happened to her was absolutely horrible and holds true to the common statement - ‘bad things happen to the best of people’.

Aurora was a nice and normal girl at one point. But being framed for murder and then nearly killed set her off. After all, who wouldn’t have their life changed after having those terrible things happen to them? Aurora chose the revenge route to cope with what happened to her. While I personally wouldn’t chose that option (I’d probably just sit in self pity :-P), I do understand why she did.

I never saw Rachel being the murderer coming. Like usual, it is never the obvious one. I actually thought it was the janitor and the girls saying that it wasn’t ever the obvious one was merely a trick to get us thinking differently. If the plan was to get the reader thinking that it was the janitor, then it definitely worked.

I’m interested to see how exactly Aurora and Jonathan will meet back up. After all, it’s been confirmed that they will reunite; it’s just a matter of when and how. They are both in captivity, so perhaps they’ll meet while still being held captive. You never know…

Overall, I really enjoyed the episode. We got a great glimpse into Aurora’s worst memory and it just goes to show how horrible her life had previously been. I hope to see her be truly happy in the Afterlife, possibly because of the new people that she knows that seem to care about her (Jonathan and Vergil).

Vergil is going to have something to do with getting Aurora out of captivity. I get the feeling that he’ll either convince Trias to let her go (yeah right!), or simply let Aurora go himself so that she can then go and kick Trias’ ass.

Eternity - Episode 1x07 - A Leaf Falls

Like usual, when I read a finale for an Angelo Shrine show, I have one word to say… wow. This episode was amazing and didn’t skip a beat. The pacing was great, the story was great… everything about it was great.

I’ll talk about the fabulous ending first. I never really expected that Diggs was actually guilty of the murder. After all, he never even hinted to the fact that he was, in any way. He tried until the day that he died (if the tear hadn’t been fixed) to convince people that he wasn’t a murderer. Turns out, he had been talking out of his ass the entire time. Then, he turns around and tries to kill Charley. This just goes to show that for once, Charley has gone too far. With Diggs getting away, I can only imagine that we’ll see him again at some point in Eternity Ends.

Meanwhile, also part of the ending, we got some major insight into the Gentleman. I very much enjoyed getting to see him change his mind in this episode. He has decided to get involved with things, something he, in the past, insinuated that he wouldn’t do. I enjoyed seeing how weak and fragile he is. It just goes to show that even he is not invincible, as obviously his old age is getting the best of him.

It was hard for one scene in particular to stand out for me, especially in an episode as good as this one. But, I loved the jogging scene between Charley and the Gentleman. I also enjoyed the scenes between Lana and Rachel. Rachel has just come into things in the past episode and it’s nice to see that throughout the thick of things, there was time to handle a mother and daughter relationship. Cheers on that front.

I don’t have much more to say then that. This was a great season ending episode, leaving us with the Gentleman to the rescue and Charley lying on the ground in a shack with a knife in his leg. I can definitely see why people had to torment you for all that time until you chose to write a conclusion. Thankfully, I don’t have to wait all that long. Let’s just hope that it is as good as I’ve heard.

Jimbo’s Final Eternity Theory
We’re going to get insight into many things. I definitely want to get some information on the Lady (as she was called in this episode). So, me final theory for Eternity is that we will discover exactly who the Lady is and how she is making Charley repeat the days to fix the tears in time.

Eternity - Episode 1x06 - The Glory, Jest and Riddle of the World

What another great episode of Eternity! With only one episode to go, plus a movie, I’m expecting a lot to come out of these scripts. After all, there is so much mystery, but so little time. Hopefully unlike a certain show (about an island), we’ll get all the answers. I guess we’ll have to see if they’ll be enough time for them all.

This episode had another striking realization for Charley, which was great to watch. Him joking earlier in the episode with the Gentleman was great to see. Charley, while handling another repeat fairly well, manages to piss off the Gentleman in the process. We haven’t seen that yet, so it was great to see the Gentleman (about halfway through the episode) get very angry at Charley.

Up until now, I’ve thought that nobody but Charley could see the Gentleman. Even Charley thought that in this episode. But, then we realize that the Gentleman can be seen by other people. This was definitely shocking to both Charley and myself. I’m interested to see what happens with the Gentleman being the divorce attorney for Joanne. Is this possible payback for Charley’s jokes? You never know...

I need you. More than anyone darling. You know that I have from the start. So build me up, Buttercup. Don’t break my – DAMN YOU, SHRINE! Of course, there is the song that’ll be stuck in my damn head all day. I must say, it was great. I thought it was a strange choice for a music cue at the beginning of the episode, but once we learned more about Genevieve and she told Charley about Diggs being her ex-husband, it made perfect sense.

It was surprising to me that Charley would wait to take care of business. I think it shows that he isn’t as troubled as he used to be about repeating the day. All in all, I’m very interested to read the final episode of the season, as well as the series concluding movie. I can only hope that they’ll be just as great as the rest of the series.

I’m not entirely convinced about the Gentleman’s position, when it comes to being seen by others. Right now, I’ve been approaching this as if he is either seen by nobody, or seen by everybody. I’m going to go in the middle with this and say that the Gentleman can choose when he is seen and when he isn’t.

Bard Investigations - Episode 1x02 - Alice

Well, this was… interesting, to say the least. This entire episode was great and quite frankly, was better than the pilot in my opinion. But why was it, is the question? The mystery did it for me, to put things simply.

The fact that Tetch was obsessed with Alice in Wonderland was an amazing idea. It’s a fairly new movie, so most people should be somewhat familiar with it. In fact, I just saw it yesterday, no lie. But that wasn’t the center of things. Tetch’s issues were well described and well written. His rhyming was hysterical for me. No matter how creepy it was supposed to be, I still laughed my ass off.

I really enjoyed our introduction to a few other detectives around Gotham. While Jason was still the savior, it’ll be interesting to see if any of the other detectives will give him a run for his money anytime soon.

I also really like where things are going with the murder of Bullock. I liked seeing Jason juggle the two mysteries. He had to both help a friend, but also help Batman, in this episode. I think that Jason doing both was very well balanced. While most of the action was seen with finding Alice, we got a bunch of information concerning Bullock’s murder that is very important.

I can see that a big mystery of the season, or at least the next few episodes, will be figuring out who killed Bullock. Jason’s very intrigued by the murder and definitely wants to figure things out. But, with nothing being found on the body or the crime scene, things were made only tougher for him. I’m interested to see what kind of leads that he’ll get that will help him solve the case.

Now, the one bad thing I found with this episode is that yet again, we don’t see much of Renee. I understand that she is stuck in the hospital right now, but I really think that we could have seen more of her over these first two episodes.

The music cues, wow, the music cues. I just had to point out that I loved them all. It’s very tough to find good songs to fit and add to different scenes, but the ones that were chosen were amazing, and in my opinion, perfect.

So now for the big question – Is Bard really good, or was the pilot a fluke? I say, as of right now, Bard Investigations is my new guilty pleasure!!! The second episode was better than the pilot, in my opinion. However, this statement was only true due to the great criminal that we saw in this episode. If Bard continues to have the intriguing guest characters or mysteries from week to week, then things will be great. But, if Bard suddenly loses its uniqueness and intriguing material, then I’ll have to take that ‘guilty pleasure’ statement back. But nonetheless – So far, so good!

I think that a random criminal investigation will give a lead to the Bullock murder. But whether I’m right or not, it’ll be cool to see how Jason will get a lead in the case.

Eternity - Episode 1x05 - Under the Cities

So… is the Chief married?

I think I feel pretty safe saying that, so far, this was my favorite episode of the season. The episode was chock full of great dialogue, and we even got a nice little hint concerning the Gentleman. I was sucked into this episode from the beginning. Under the Cities raised the bar, for sure. But, now I have to hope that the last 2 episodes of the season are just as good, if not, better.

The Gentleman’s statement that ‘She’ has the power absolutely shocked me. This begins an entirely new ball game. Saying that ‘She’ has the power tells us that there is somebody else, besides Charley and the Gentleman, that know about this. All this time, here we are thinking that the Gentleman was the only one, or at least the one in control. I must say, it was a great visual when Charley walks into his office to see all of his clocks running again.

The ending was both good, but also risky. I’m just saying, but if I had a fire extinguisher and my opponent had a knife, I wouldn’t be attacking him anytime soon. Starlight taking action was great, no matter how much she ruined Charley’s life. She got vengeance, plain and simple. Despite what she’s done, I can’t help but think that Charley feels sorry for her, at least somewhat.

Something that I’ve been thinking about now is Joanne and Charley. They had a bit of a reunion, of sorts, in this episode. Part of me thinks that nothing new will happen between the two of them, but one can still remain hopeful that they’ll put aside their differences and at least have a little talk. I think Simo would agree that a little talking between the two of them wouldn’t hurt and that everybody needs to set aside their differences at one time or another.

Speaking of Simo, once again, we didn’t see much of him. I guess I just wish that he was more in the thick of things. He has had a couple moments to shine, but I can’t lose hope that he’ll get more of those moments. He’s a great character, but appears more on the sidelines than the others, even his wife.

This mysterious woman that the Gentleman mentioned will greatly factor into the end of the season, possibly even the end of the series.

Eternity - Episode 1x04 - Patients

So far this season, I’ve enjoyed each episode of Eternity. That opinion didn’t change at all in this episode. I was a little frightened coming into this episode, as it’s the first (and only) of any Angelo Shrine series to not be written by him. I was afraid things would fall apart, but this episode definitely proved me wrong. It was great.

At the start of the episode, I thought it was huge that Phil was reliving the same day. This could have changed everything from this point forward. To my surprise, it turns out that Phil wasn’t reliving the same day, just a tad bit crazy after hearing Groundhog Day all night. While I was disappointed that Phil wasn’t actually reliving the same day, I wasn’t angry at the trickery. I know that they’ll be something up your sleeve, Angelo, that’ll make up for it.

We didn’t see much of anybody in this episode besides Charley, Lana, and Phil (plus Wanda). This partly backs up my claim on how it seems that Simo and Lana serve little purpose. While Lana’s character is growing and is getting more face time, Simo is still in the background. I hope that we’ll see the same type of growth with Simo soon, or else I’ll be a little disappointed.

Charley continues to handle situations very strangely. The way he goes about things just seem very irrational to me. This is the third time that he has repeated a day, and yet he still slightly freaked out about it. I want him to start taking it in stride. He (slightly) understands what he has to do, so why can’t he just take it in stride and do it and get it over with? Why dwell on it? But, I must say at the same time, there is no way for me to truly tell how stressful it can get, considering the fact that I’ve never repeated a day.

Overall, this episode was great and definitely proved me wrong with my initial worries. I was definitely concerned that the writing would be much different, but if I didn’t see who wrote it, I would’ve sworn that you did, Angelo. Only 3 episodes and a movie left before my questions are (hopefully) answered. I can’t wait!

Charley will begin not cooperating with the Gentleman until he gets more answers. Although, I get the feeling that the Gentleman wouldn’t give any more answers to him one way or the other… without putting a little fight.

Eternity - Episode 1x03 - Tear in Time

This was seemed like an episode that was meant to give the audience a few answers... and it definitely did. When the episode opened with a funeral and a group of people that we didn’t even know, I was really interested as to what direction this episode would be going. While this episode was not the best, it was still very well written and didn’t disappoint.

The fact that Charley was in a mental ward for 3 months just goes to show that repeating the day, the Gentleman, and losing his wife got to him. I find it very ironic that on the day that he finally puts things behind him and accepts the fact that the Gentleman isn’t real… the day starts repeating again. I can’t help but think that we won’t be seeing any more large gaps in time between him repeating the day, as then there’d be too much information to get caught up on.

The big part of this episode was the realization that Charley is simply repairing different rifts in time, almost as if it is his job to do so. Now, that answers our questions about what exactly is happening to him (to an extent), but what I’m now wondering is… why him? Why is Charley the one that has to repair the tears in time? Why not somebody else? But knowing you Angelo, I’m sure we’ll get an answer to this before the series ends.

I’m very happy that Lana and Simo finally have a story. Despite Simo getting shot, I felt like their characters were just added in there to take up some time. However, now that Lana is pregnant, I’m interested to see if their characters will become more central and how her pregnancy will affect the story and the life of Charley.

I was also happy to see that Charley and Joanne talked. Joanne seems to not want to see him all that much, which is perfectly understandable, but I hold out hope that she’ll wise up and be more willing, at least to just talk to the guy.

While this episode wasn’t quite as good as the first two, I feel like this episode should really push things forward for the rest of the series. I look forward to reading on and hopefully getting some answers to the mysteries that we’ve already been introduced to.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x21 - Cut the Gordian Knot

Angelo, you never cease to amaze me with your... slyness. Even a show which is very much a comedy compared to your other work, you still manage to make at least half of the season mean so much more then we had ever thought.

When you go into a reading an episode where one character happens to have a mail-order-bride magazine that goes missing... well, you don’t think much of it. Turns out, it meant everything. All this time, I’ve been think about the love triangle and how both women are good for London. Turns out, Rome had never even been with London. Did it surprise me? HELL YEAH! I honestly never even saw it coming. Now that this discovery has been made, I will be interested to see what role Rome will play next season. She was an interesting character, so I definitely would like to see more of her.

Starla’s death didn’t make me angry at all. I had never really liked her. She would have broken Prague’s heart, so I’m happy to see that she is now out of the picture. Of course, the winged baby is hinted upon in this episode, but we never really get to see her. I guess that’s another thing that’ll just have to wait for next season - same with the Grim Reaper.

All in all, this was an amazing season. I have a lot to look forward to next season, including what exactly Golombia whispered to Khora. There are so many great things about this series that had a great chance to shine this season. I hope that next season will be just as good, if not better!

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x20 - Golombia's Guffaw

FINALLY! I’ve been waiting a long time to get a conclusion to this murder case... and wasn’t it a treat?!?! I think the wait was well worth it for what was probably the best episode of the season.

While Golombia killing himself may have been intended to shock me, it didn’t really. I actually sort of expected him to not take the result kindly. When he grabbed the gun, I was wondering whether or not it had any bullets. I was actually think about why Eungh even was carrying a gun. But, it didn’t have any bullets after all, so Golombia simply decided to beat himself with the gun instead. While I have a slight feeling that Golombia is actually not guilty for murdering his wife, I did think that it was a damn good way for him to go out. ‘Go out with a bang’, as they always say... or in this case, ‘Go out with a gun beating against your skull’.

Then, on a calmer note, we have London and his three officers. I did have a feeling that it was London from the beginning though, as he mentioned that the person had been DRIVING home, and we all know that only people who use transportation for their job has a car. But, it was still very funny that Rome decided to give him a little payback. I’m happy that she handled things in a nice manner, instead of ending their relationship or anything of that sort. After all, London and Rome are great together.

Overall, I think that this sets up for the final episode fairly nicely, as it leaves many people in absolute shock at what has happened. I can’t wait to read the finale!

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x19 - Love in a Small Town

Yet again, what a strange town that Weeki Wachee is. This episode was chock full of great material that I think sets up for a great final 2 episodes of the season. We had cars being banned, a man’s heart being craved by the entire town, and Cairo who seems to be getting a bit jealous of London and Rome’s relationship.

While we didn’t really see Rome this episode, it is nice to see that her and London are still together after the newspaper article ordeal. However, with the mayor promising Cairo that sex will be allowed again, I can’t help but think that she will get in the way and try to get London back.. Also, there was no mention of the sex law being removed and I was confused as to why.

The entire town craving the heart was great. While Quebec’s motives seem strange at times, he seems like he still cares about the town and wants to protect it - key to why he got rid of the heart before things got too crazy.

This was a very good episode and I’m very excited that there are only 2 episodes left of the season. I hope that we’ll get some answers, specifically concerning the Golombia murder, as well as the Grim Reaper. If we don’t, I may try to stuff frogs down an unsuspecting civilian’s throat. Just saying.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x18 - Shakespeare Beneath Bark

This episode may have been the craziest episode of Weeki Wachee yet. I thought that this was a strange town, but for Galena to marry a tree is... insanity.

In all actuality, I felt this episode to be sort of a ‘filler’ episode. It didn’t really drop any hints at anything. There were no cases to solve or anybody doing anything suspicious. Basically, all we got was Rome’s secret getting out in the newspaper (although it wasn’t entirely true) and Galena marrying a tree.

As strange as Rome is, I did feel quite sorry for her. Nobody deserves to be humiliated like that, especially through the newspaper. It doesn’t help that Weeki Wachee is a very small town and that the word gets around quick. With Rome finding out from Khora that London had told her already, it adds some trouble to their relationship. Quite frankly, I don’t know what to say about what I want to happen with their relationship, as this is a complete love triangle situation. While Cairo and London are great together, so are Rome and London.

With Galena marrying a tree... I also don’t know what to say. While the events surrounding her and the tree were funny, it’s just very strange. But alas, this is Weeki Wachee, where the strangest of things happen... all the time.

Despite the fact that this seemed more like a ‘filler’ episode to me, I did enjoy it and can’t wait to get to the last 3 episodes of the season!

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x17 - Raphus Cucullatus

Now, that’s more like it. After the previous episode disappointed me a bit, this one was just as good as the ones before it. However, now I’m left wondering what in the world happened to the trial? The trial just seems to have suddenly come to a halt, which doesn’t make much sense to me. Nonetheless, it was good to have our characters doing much different things and not constantly worrying about the murder trial.

Now, while I did enjoy the episode, I didn’t really understand why you would make about half of it was a waste of time. While we got to get some hilarious information about Singapore’s love for the Dodo bird, their ‘guy in Miami’ had been wrong the whole time. Not only was the precinct misled, but so was I. Turns out, it was an alligator. I like surprises, but I don’t really like it when there was absolutely no way to guess beforehand.

Singapore’s little spiel may very well be the best piece of dialogue ever written on this show. Her story made this entire episode for and was superbly written. I don’t think it could have been any better, as it had the perfect balance between jokes and information.

All in all, I enjoyed the episode and I feel like Weeki Wachee has returned to meeting the expectations that had been set a few episodes back.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x16 - The Great Schnoz

For me, this episode was a bit of a step down. While past episodes have been packed full with interesting material, this episode just didn’t quite hook me. One of my main problems is how much time this trial is taking. The trial has been ongoing for two episodes now and will continue into, at least, the next episode. I feel as though the trial is being dragged out for as long as possible and I think that, had the focus been on the trial in this episode, and not the winged baby, then the case could have already been closed.

When we first heard about the winged baby flying away, I immediately thought about the swamp and how we had already heard that it strange effects on babies. This came as no surprise to me that something else had strangely happened with a newborn baby.

However, I fully expected the baby to be found by the precinct, not the Grim Reaper. I’m waiting the Reaper to be the focus again, actually. For the most part, he has popped up here and there, but ever since the incident with the frogs, we’ve not seen much of him, nor has the precinct.

While I still enjoyed this episode, I didn’t feel like it was up to par with the past few episodes. If we can get a quick resolution to this murder case, though, I think focus could then be put on other things, making for more interesting episodes.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x15 - Stepping On Cracks

I swear, Weeki Wachee just continues to get better and better. It seems like the further into the season things get, the pacing and the comedy of the scripts are much more consistent then earlier episodes. Also, I feel as though the series is getting more involved with mysteries and such. At first, random things were just happening. However, now were getting the randomness AND the mysteries... and I like it!

Rome interested me before, and I’m sure that I feel the same as London when I say that she doesn’t interest me anymore. Her... strangeness is... well, strange. It was definitely unexpected, as I saw her as being the girl that London uses to make Cairo jealous.

Then we have this damn murder case. Blitzen really pissed me off in this episode. I’ve never had a big problem with him as a character, but what he has done with the case changes everything. While what he appears to be doing with the witnesses is quite crazy, it does show his determination to keep his client out of jail. But, the point is, he is doing something wrong and something more needs to be done about before things get even worse.

Judge Koils nose issues was one of the highlights of the episode for me. It was funny throughout, since in every scene she was in, she was doing something with her nose. No matter what she doing or saying, it was simply hilarious. Then, the episode ends with her nose falling off. That’s... interesting. I have no idea how to respond to that.

Cairo is going to win this case and Golombia will be convicted for murder. I just get the feeling that she’ll find a way to win it.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x14 - This Crazy Town

Angelo, you are a sick, sick man. I came into the episode noticing how this was the first episode after a mid-season break. I thus had a feeling that we would be getting some follow-up, not only about Pete, but probably about Walter as well.

From the moment that Walter ran out of his burning house in his underwear, carrying a pig, I had a little feeling about what direction that this was all going. Turns out, I was right. It was quite sick once I got to thinking more about and I was disturbed that I connected the dots. What disturbs me even more is that it was written. I guess I never quite realized how sick you actually were, Angelo. I did like the conclusion, nonetheless, with Walter Spleen being banished from the town... with his animals. I sure as hell would want someone like that long gone if they lived near me.

The Pete mystery also had a conclusion. While I was able to figure things out beforehand with Walter Spleen, I wasn’t with Pete. The skeleton confused me at first, but in the end, the answers were given and I understood. It was a good shocker and something that I don’t think anybody could have been able to predict.

Despite the writer of Weeki Wachee having such a sick mind, this was probably my favorite episode yet and in my eyes, things keep getting better and better. With my expectations of the series getting higher, hopefully Weeki Wachee will be able to keep up its awesomeness.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x13 - Old Gooseberry

All I have to say is that I think this is the best Weeki Wachee episode to date. It was filled with great dialogue, had a phenomenal ending, and kept me sucked in throughout.

I really hope that London and Cairo get back together. Their fight was finely written, and although very funny, I was left feeling very sad in the end. They were good together and balanced one another very well. Things will definitely be different since they are not in a relationship and as I said, I strongly wish that they’ll get back together.

I also like the mysteries that continue to pop up. We get a little follow-up as to Singapore’s secret about the new doctor. However, we aren’t really enlightened as to what the secret is about, besides that it could get Spleen fired. Also, we have horned Pete. It sounds very strange and I think that the precinct trying to find him will be very interesting since they have no leads besides what the Grim Reaper said… although he didn’t really lead them in any particular direction.

This was another great episode of Weeki Wachee and you can only hope that things will get even more intense (and funny) as the season gets closer and closer to its end.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x12 - The Fetish

I’m back to reading another hilarious series from the pen of Angelo Shrine (after all, I have to get my taste of Shrine now that I’m caught up with Shackles)! After all this time, I’ve completely forgotten how amazingly funny that Weeki Wachee is. After going over the character bios and reading the episode summaries, I felt like I had never stopped reading! Now, to dive right in!

There were many great highlights of this episode. The court hearing was great. I couldn’t believe that Cairo lost a case, as that is not normal for her. I get the feeling that we may be revisiting this case in the future, especially since it was hinted that Singapore knew something that she wasn’t quite letting on to.

Another highlight was Eungh with the crying, as well as the fish. I love how nobody is afraid to hurt Prague’s feelings about puking in the fish tank. Of course, nobody (except for London) seemed mad about the situation, while most of the characters just seemed surprised, or in Eungh’s case, sad. Eungh’s crying was strange, but also funny, since the only reason he was doing it was to practice in case he were to get robbed.

I can’t wait to keep reading the series though. It is very funny and definitely made me laugh, which can be hard to do sometimes. This show impresses just as much as other Angelo Shrine creations, and I really think that more people need to be giving it a chance. And you never know, maybe my reading will inspire you to continue the series (hint, hint).

Afterlife - Episode 1x04 - What Doesn't Kill You

And the battle begins…

This very well may be the best episode of Afterlife yet. Again, we have this separation between Aurora, in which we get a complete Aurora centric episode, and no Jonathan. However, the story made me forget all about that and it took me until typing up this review to realize it.

I didn’t really have any problems with this episode. The episode was well-paced and, unlike the previous episode, gave us more story from the present and less from the past. Personally, I find the present story-line to be more interesting then the past. I don’t know exactly why, but that is just my preference.

Yet again, an episode of Afterlife wows me with the use of its guest stars. Liliana was great, as well as the rest of the family. While their story is very sad, Liliana initially seems to be very kind, only to turn on Aurora. I can see why Liliana would do what she did, but I feel as though she should have listened to Aurora’s advice. Liliana lost everything anyway, so she might as well have gone the easy way and left instead of putting her life at risk with the Ravens. I hope that we’ll see the family once again though.

Aurora’s past is a bit more interesting than Jonathan’s. Jonathan lived a fairly bland life (at least that’s how it seems at the moment), while Aurora was a trained assassin. In death, Aurora seems to have changed though. In the past, she was ruthless. As can be seen by the murder she performed, Aurora wouldn’t let anything stand in her way. She WANTED to kill people. However, in the present, she hold compassion for those around her. She finds that killing others, while sometimes necessary, isn’t right (especially if it is an innocent person, such as Liliana’s husband).

I get the feeling that Trias will win another battle with Aurora, with the help of the other thugs or not. I simply don’t see what she could to beat all of them, especially with her injury. On top of that, Trias will be even more determined to kick Aurora’s ass, especially since now he has tasted the power of being the leader and surely won’t want to give it up.

This is definitely my favorite episode of Afterlife so far. At this point, I feel like things have the potential to get even better, so hopefully the rest of the season continues to live up to the rising expectations.

Aurora will be beaten (once again) by Trias. He won’t kill her, but simply capture her. That is when I believe that her and Jonathan will meet again.

Afterlife - Episode 1x03 - Twin

With this episode, I definitely regret not reading this series sooner. While I still had a slight problem with this episode, Afterlife still kept its ability to suck me into the story.

I’ll go into my problem first. I didn’t really like how very little of the episode was spent in the present, with Jonathan in Silver City. We had a lot more story about the past. Quite frankly though, if the show is called Afterlife, shouldn’t it be mainly about the afterlife? I just felt like all we got in the present was a fight, while we got so much more in the past. (Keep in mind, I know that the past needs to be told, it’s just that I feel like too much time was spent on the past compared to the present.)

Now we’ll move on to what I enjoyed. I really loved that we got some more of Jonathan in this episode, but yet again, there was only Jonathan and no Aurora. However, I’m not as disappointed about this as I was in the last episode. This episode a lot of good guest stars, all of which gave us a good insight into Jonathan’s past.

‘Twin’ showed me just how socially awkward Jonathan is. In the pilot, he seemed like he was just constantly sarcastic. What is nice to see is how his sister helped him realize that it was time for a change and how he needed to get up and do something. Before the security job, he seemed very socially awkward, as I already said. He didn’t seem too happy about seeing other people, especially his girlfriend’s ‘friends’. At first, I was going to call him a loner, but while he still saw people and talked to others, I just decided to go with socially awkward.

While I didn’t really like Joan as a character, Jenny made up for it. Joan seemed like a strange fit for Jonathan, so much so that I can’t even really think of why they would be attracted to each other in the first place. However, Jenny was amazing. Her message that she left on the answering machine was amazing and made the entire episode for me. Her speech was superb writing on your part, Jon.

This episode was better than the pilot, in my opinion. The writing and story is phenomenal. I just can’t believe I waited so long to dive in.

Aurora, when she returns to Silver City, will meet Jonathan again because both of them will be locked up. I think that would be quite an interesting way for the two to meet again.

Eternity - Episode 1x02 - Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow

Wow. That ending was simply... wow. I never expected him to stop living the day over and over again. I thought that this would be something that didn’t happen until the movie that ends the entire series. As I said... wow.

To be honest, I didn’t enjoy this episode as much as I enjoyed the pilot. I had some problems with this episode, more so then the first. I’ll get to the good first though. First off, the script kept me sucked into the story, and any time that happens (although it’s not difficult to do), you know that the script was good - at least for me. The story in itself is so perplexing that you tend to not be able to put it down.

The music cues were great. Especially the final song. It literally ended right as I finished the script. Perfect timing. The song added so much, as without the music, the scene would have seemed so bland and simple. But, the music added the emotion needed for the ending and makes me think back on the scene in a different light.

Now for some of the bad points that I want to bring up. First, I’m not liking Charley nearly s much as I did in the first episode. His mind set was always strange, even in the pilot. This time, however, his reactions seemed much different than it would be for somebody in real life. For example, his lies to Joanne. How come, on the day he was trying to end things, would he make the horrible decision to say he was visiting Starlight? It makes no sense as to why he did that. If it had been me, I would have tried to save my marriage, just in case I did indeed fix things.

Despite my issues with Charley in this episode, I still thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to read more. I don’t see how the series can really continue without Charley repeating the day. If he does begin repeating another day, I’m interested to see whether it’ll be the very next day, or later on. I can’t wait! :)

Afterlife - Episode 1x02 - Rude Awakening

The second episode of Afterlife was written just as well, if not better than the pilot. However, while the writing was great and kept me into the script, looking back, I didn’t enjoy the story quite as much. Something that was so great about the first episode was that we got to see both of our two leads. Given, Aurora did disappear about halfway through, but still. I was slightly disappointed that we didn’t get to see Jonathan at all, but I do understand why it was done.

We come to find out that while Aurora has been in this same world for 11 months now, Jonathan is only just now coming into it. I can’t quite figure out why this could be, but hopefully we’ll find out eventually.

Another aspect that I’m really beginning to love with this show, more so than others, are the guest stars. Since we only have 2 lead characters, more time is spent focusing on the guest stars than in a normal episode, or even series. Vergil is one of those characters that I liked from the start. His dialogue is absolutely amazing. On top of that, he is the only character that we’ve seen (besides Aurora and Jonathan) that seems to be... normal.

I very interested to see more of Trias. While he is the antagonist, he seems to be written simply so we’ll dislike him. But, he intrigues me. I’d love to see what he will do now that he has gotten rid of Aurora and how long his power will last (assuming that he does gain control having beaten Aurora).

Just like in the pilot, the action sequences were very well done. The fights between Aurora and Trias were pretty kick ass. I also found out it funny how Aurora always had these daggers hidden around (one was even with her in the bathtub). It just goes to show that she never feels safe in this new world.

As I’ve already said, I was quite impressed with this episode. It was very strong, both character and narrative wise, and I look forward to reading on with the series. I just hope that we do get to see both of our leads together again, sooner rather than later.

I could see Aurora coming back to kick Trias’ ass once again. Although, if that happens, I have a feeling that Trias would win once again. He was a skilled fighter before (without any help) and if he gains leadership over all of those thugs, Aurora will surely be toast.

Bard Investigations - Episode 1x01 - Gotham Confidential

I must say… I am thoroughly impressed with the premiere of Bard Investigations. Was it the best pilot ever? No. But was it pretty kick ass? Yes!

I’ll start off with the good. To begin, the entire episode kept me sucked right in. I literally didn’t stop at all. I finished it up faster than most other scripts that I read, so that just goes to show that I was deeply, DEEPLY interested in what was happening. The characters were interesting (although there is a problem involving characters, which I’ll get to later on).

James Marsden is absolutely perfect for the role of Jason Bard. Jason’s wit and sarcasm, in a word, is… delicious. I laughed a good few times while reading this episode. And when I say that the comedy aspects of the episode were good, I mean it. I don’t laugh at everything, so when you get a chuckle from me, you know that you did well.

Monica is a very interesting character. She is not only Jason’s secretary, but she also appears to be his right-hand man (well, woman – but you know what I mean). I can see her pulling through in tough situations throughout the entire season. She is obviously a determined and trustworthy women (she’s a mother, so she better damn well be). I hope to see her get a bit more spotlight sooner, rather than later.

Now that I’ve gone through the main ‘goods’, it’s time to get to the bad. As I said earlier, the episode kept me sucked right in. This was partly because of the fast pace of the script. However, at times, things went a little too fast. With the speed of things, the descriptiveness fell off at times, and that is something you don’t want to see in any script. If I had to guess, I’d say you were trying to cram a good bit into those 66 pages.

Speaking of descriptiveness, I was unimpressed by some aspects of the lead characters. You have 3 lead roles in this series. Those 3 should be front and center, especially in the first episode. Renee just jumped into the story without much information being given to us about her. On top of that, Renee was absent for most of the episode (yeah, I know she was shot, but still). Some of the guest stars (one of which died), had a hell of a lot more face time then her. I don’t think that’s right, especially in a pilot. There may have been a good reason for this on the mythology part of things, but in a pilot, I’d much rather see action with the lead characters, not more so with the guest stars.

Nonetheless, I was very satisfied with the first episode. Given, this is the first episode and it most cases, quality gets improved upon greatly after the first episode or two. I can’t wait to read next week!

Shackles - Episode 3x11 - Being a Grandmother

Did anybody say speechless? I don’t have a clue where to start. Somebody would have to be crazy if they were to say that this wasn’t a good episode. It was amazing. End. Of.

I guess we can start with the conclusion. We FINALLY discover who the Architect is. At about the halfway point of the episode, I actually started to have a feeling it might Milgate himself. It was a crazy hunch, but it was damn close. Mary-Lynn turns out to be the Architect. Was it a shock? Hell yeah. Who would have thought that the Architect would be somebody who we haven’t seen until just now? Nobody.

Then, we find out what the body, head, and Xera would be used for. Bringing Milgate back to life is something that I NEVER saw coming. We still have an entire season of this show left, so it’ll be very interesting to see what the new Milgate will do from now until then (this is also assuming that he would make it to the end of the final season).

One thing that stung me is that Xera was forced. She had no other option if she wanted to stay alive. It sucks that that is what it had to come to, but it worked. Xera was obviously upset, and now that she has aged quite a bit, it’ll be neat to see how she copes with the changes to her body, as well as with what she was forced to do.

Now, I made a note to remember another cliffhanger that we got, although it wasn’t quite front-and-center as the others. We still have Brett, Kylee, Matilda, and Kaeto stuck in the Kenyan jungle. We also were just told that Xera has healed Matilda four times. That is insanity. I wonder if all of these heals were due to strokes, or if it was just old age (although both are sort of inter-related).

You told me long ago (even showing me the picture of him after one of my reviews), that we would see Zachary at one point or another in the future. Now, although his stint was quite brief, it shows us that viewpoints on who to heal have only changed for Milgate (as far as we know). His grandfather, father, and Xera all say that they won’t heal someone after they are dead. I found that a bit interesting.

I enjoyed the glimpse into Milgate’s childhood. Getting to see the tragedy in his early life was a good treat, giving us some key knowledge. On the note of childhood – Angelo, what the hell is with you and the killing of children? I swear you must get a large grin on your face (like Verna) every time you do. Now I see who Verna’s character was modeled after… YOU!

All in all, this was a PHENOMENAL finale. In other words – This was my favorite episode of the entire series. It’ll definitely be tough to top this one.

Shackles - Episode 3x10 - Dead Weight

Angelo, you are such a genius. I must say that I always had a gut feeling that Matilda was alive. I never thought that she would be Xera’s ‘grandmother’ though. I had a feeling we wouldn’t see her alive and well until the finale, possibly when and if we find out who the Architect is. Nonetheless, I am excited to see her not show up until that final page, once again. It is always great when you see an unexpected guest star appear.

Now, this episode was a huge step up from the previous (3x09). ‘Protector’ definitely had its flaws, but I feel safe with saying that they were made up for in this episode. However, this episode did make me realize something which I’m really not all that happy about.

The realization is concerning Mister S. / Sheng. The problem that I have is that ever since we found out that Mister S. was actually Sheng, the character seems to be written differently than before. In the past, Mister S. was quiet and mysterious, even to his fellow workers. However, now (as Sheng), he is talking quite a bit more and is a lot less held back (Whether the official leader or not. He had always been giving orders, according to Brett). On top of this, Sheng now appears to be involved with whatever is going on with the Architect and the Poisoned being hired by him. Nonetheless, he is still a great character, I just feel like he changed too quickly for my taste and that change just so happened to be when we found out who he really was.

My last theory doesn’t seem like it is going to hold up that well. It was hinted by Brett that it could be a woman. This makes me think that it could possibly be Matilda, or a different person entirely. Needless to say, that statement doesn’t confirm that it a woman, it is just hinting at it. So, there is a chance it could still be a man (i.e. The Arabian).

I’m only one episode away from being completely caught up with Shackles! I can’t wait to read the finale! With all of the guest stars on taps for the finale, as well as it being extended like normal Shackles finales, it’ll probably be one hell of a ride.

The voice on the telephone (and outside Epoch’s window in the Flashbacks) will turn out to be Matilda – calling people all the way from the jungles of Kenya.

Shackles - Episode 3x09 - Protector

I must say, while this episode was written extremely well, I wasn’t sucked into it as much as I am by the normal Shackles script. I honestly don’t know why. Part of me feels like this episode seemed to focus on very little from the overall arc of things, besides the few little hints that we were dropped.

The Architect came up a few times and I admit, I am craving to find out who it is. It has been a mystery for quite some time now, but with the realization that a Poisoned had been working for them, it makes me even more interested. I have a feeling that we’ll find out by the end of the season, but I’ll give more on that in my next theory.

I love Xera. Her personality and views on healing is perfect for the current tone of this show. It nearly killed me when her father died. You knew that she wanted to heal him very badly, but just wouldn’t let herself potentially create another Clarissa. The fact that she didn’t heal her dead father goes to show that she won’t waver her views when she is a tough situation. I could see this happening again, later down the line, as we’re just bound to see more of her.

I like how Brett was included in things at the end of the episode. It took me until the moment that he arrived in the helicopter to realize how different the show would be if he didn’t play a part in things. He was the savior this time around.

I get the feeling that trust will be a major issue in the last 2 episodes. Kylee found out the lie that Sheng had told and I get the feeling that she’ll be confronting on that issue sooner, rather than later.

And finally, mother and son meet again. I get the feeling that we’ll see a battle in the next episode. Jonathan will most likely have conflicting emotions. Yeah it’s his mother, but will that stop him from doing what he wants to do to all the other Poisoned? I doubt it, but I guess I’ll have to wait and find out.

On the track of The Architect... I have something very strange that I’m going to throw out here. We have seen all of last season’s again... except for one. The Arabian. I’m going to go out on a limb and say that I think the Arabian is the Architect.

Eternity - Episode 1x01 - Eternity

I was impressed with Eternity by the time the teaser had ended. At first, I thought I skipped something, as we just dove right in with the conversation between Charley and the mysterious Gentleman. Having heard a lot about this series’ greatness in the past, I had very high expectations. Even with insanely high expectations of the series, I enjoyed every second of the episode. I believe that the first episode has lived up to all of the hype. The main question, though, is if Eternity can not only live up to its hype, but also live up the first episode. The first episode is one thing, the second is an entirely different monster.

Reading the concept of Eternity, you immediately think of Groundhog Day, or possibly even Day Break. I immediately thought of how the ‘living the same day over and over again’ concept had been used before. My one wonder was how exactly this could be different than the others. What immediately set this series apart from the other similar projects was the Gentleman.

The Gentleman is a very mysterious character and I believe that he will continue to be. Knowing you, Angelo, you would wait until the very last second to reveal all that we wanted to know. The Gentleman appears to be extremely arrogant. This could be a good thing or a bad thing. However, it’ll only be a bad thing if the Gentleman’s attitude becomes more annoying then intriguing.

Charley is interesting in the fact that, while he figures out how to deal with the situation of the Gentleman, he hasn’t yet figured out what to do with Joanne. You would think that someone would deal with the people that they know first, saving the strangers for later. That is obviously not the case here.

I am interested to see what importance Simo and Lana will play in the overall story. At this point, they just seem like extra characters used to create more scenarios. I’ll be disappointed if they don’t serve a more complex purpose as the show progresses.

Afterlife - Episode 1x01 - Purpose

Well, Jon, welcome to my reviews! I’ve heard some amazing things about Afterlife, so I finally decided to give the first episode a read. Simply put… It was AMAZING! Never have I been so intrigued by the pilot for a series. That statement in itself says a lot with all the great writers that are here at MZP.

Having read this first episode, I would think that Afterlife would be considered an action series, as it was definitely packed full of punching, kicking… and spitting. The action sequences were flawlessly written; so much so that I could imagine the scene happening in my head.

Jonathan is very kick-ass. He also has something about him that gets you interested to know more. He is a perfect lead character and has the traits to easily make his character work for seasons to come. Aurora is also a great second in command. At first, I had a feeling that she and Jonathan would be more like good vs. evil. In death though, they came together. Actually, they came together before death, while fighting the thugs. Speaking of their death, it was amazing. I don’t think it could have been written any better.

In this new life, however, Aurora is nowhere to be seen. This slightly confuses me, as there are only two lead characters. With only two leads, I run into the problem of how the show will revolve around these two people all the time. With the fact that she is a lead character, you have to assume that she’ll pop up in this new life relatively soon.

I really liked the guess stars in this episode. Despite the fact that we only got to see some of them for about half of the episode, I still hope that we’ll see more of them in the future. The guest characters seemed very well developed for the little face time that they got. They actually were developed so much that I didn’t see Jonathan leaving, especially after only one episode. It just goes to show that you have to expect the unexpected.

One thing I do for all my reviews (for any series) is to give a theory for the future based on the events of the episode. This’ll be no different for Afterlife:

Shackles - Episode 3x08 - A Nonspeaking Role

I think I’m going to dive right in and say that this episode had great things, but also bad things.

Let’s get the bad thing out of the way first. I don’t like these flashback episodes – Depending on how they’re done. I don’t like the idea of seeing these scenes from the past, yet it basically being a character reading a book. In other words, I don’t like a present-day character doing voice-overs as a flashback is happening. I never have liked, I probably never will. I would have enjoyed this episode much more if we were just getting the story told through flashbacks, and merely assuming that Kaeto was telling Jonathan of everything that we were seeing. Does that make sense? I hope so.

Also, you and I have another problem now, Angelo. It was never emphasized that Kaeto was the person seeing the younger Milgate. As far as I could tell, we were seeing Milgate from our point of you. I just don’t know whether this was done on purpose or not (though I’m sure it was). But oh well, I’ll get over it since my last theory was, overall, correct.

Now it’s time for the good stuff. MISTER S! I literally jumped out of my seat when I read it. It makes so much sense, too. Mister S = Li Sheng. I’m very excited that we finally got answers to him, though. Here we were thinking that we needed an entire backstory from this new character, only to find out that we already had most of it all along.

I must also give praise to you, Angelo, for yet another phenomenal music cue for this episode. That is probably one of the best pieces to be featured on Shackles, and starting and stopping the music worked like a charm. For me, as a reader who listens to all music cues in any script, I feel like the music adds so much to the story – Aspects of the story that can’t quite be put to words.

And as you said before, the part finales do seem like they could be season finales in themselves. I’m excited to see what Xera’s part will be now that she has been found.

Shackles - Episode 3x07 - The Roar of the Gale

Three words – What. The. Hell! This may just have been the craziest ending to an episode (excluding season finales) EVER! How… who… what… I’m speechless right now.

This episode was packed with pure action. I couldn’t stop reading for even a minute. This doesn’t just mean there was great writing from a particular Mr. Shrine, but it also goes to show how perplexing the story of Shackles is. Part of me wonders if this is how the rest of the season will be, as we saw multiple characters die.

I’ve never really liked Parina. She is the type of character that I despise. Now, despite the fact that in my last review I expressed my hatred for the new Brett, I was sad to see that the other leaders didn’t want him to run The Annulus anymore. With Parina’s death, I wonder if the decision will hold or not. After all, since when does a dead person even matter in Shackles?

Tara was a strangely written character. We never really focused as much on her as we do the normal Poisoned, which is slightly disappointing. Her wind-gasms will always be remembered though, at least by me. Basil’s death doesn’t matter much to me, although it would have been cool to see Kaeto without a voice. (By the way, GREAT casting of Fredric Lane as Basil. ABSOLUTE GENIUS!)

From the get-go, I never believed that the creature was Xera. I was too much of a stretch for me. Even if it hadn’t been revealed so soon, I would have then had an easy theory. But alas, you can’t go easy on me for once, Angelo (DAMN YOU!).

I’m still hung up on that cliffhanger. I can’t even use words to describe what could be going on at this point. At first, I re-read it again to see if it was from Kaeto’s eyes, but it wasn’t, so there went another possible theory (of her dreaming it). I can’t wait to read the next episode!

The young Milgate Epoch that we see isn’t real… somehow. Don’t ask me how or why though. As I said before, I initially thought that it could be Kaeto dreaming, but as the script states that she goes underwater and then is picked up, it shows that we’re seeing this from our point of view, not her point of view. Can’t you tell that I’m confused at this point?

Shackles - Episode 3x06 - The Story That Won't Die

Getting to see more of Matilda this episode made me a very happy camper. Keep in mind now, she isn’t anywhere near to being my favorite character, but we get some new information on her in both the present and the past. I had to go back and read the cemetery scene a few times. It’s quite obvious that Matilda faked her own death, but I find it even stranger that nobody seems to know about it.

Brett definitely is keeping too many secrets. Surely, they’ll come back to bite him. Although not in this episode, I want him to be put down a peg to learn from his mistakes. I enjoy the old Brett much more. The new Brett has changed for the worse and thinks that keeping secrets is the best thing to do. I would kick his ass if he actually existed.

I also don’t like Kaeto anymore. I used to adore her, but NO MORE, I SAY! I think it was planned for Kaeto to kill Walter and that Milgate will be recorded or seen healing him. Speaking of characters I dislike, Walter is another one of them.

Finally, way to shoot down a theory that I have IN THE VERY NEXT EPISODE! You can’t even wait 2; you just go ahead and rip it to threads in the very next one. I really thought that Clarissa would have teased about the Sickness a little more, instead of just unleashing it straight away. But alas, this is Shackles and we all have to expect the unexpected.

This wasn’t my favorite episode by far, and it was, in my opinion, a step down from the previous episode. The episode had its slow moments, but it also had some really good scenes. My favorite scene of the episode was Mister S. and Jonathan’s little brawl. I thought that Jonathan was going to actually shoot Mister S., but thankfully Mister S. turned the other cheek and walker away.

The music cue was great at the beginning of the episode (and you know me, I always listen to the song). ‘Fine and Mellow’ is a great song, especially for this type of series. It’s used quite often, but not often enough that you get sick of it. I’m happy that I still am enjoying the song so much after it being in all three seasons of the show.

The Annulus will barely be able to survive the Anemoi Sickness. Though I have a feeling it might be ripped to shreds, I doubt that much will happen.

Shackles - Episode 3x05 - Faces of the Past

I’m the type of person that comes into an episode having read the episode description and the guest stars. Then here you are going and not including a particular guest star until the very end. It was a very sly move by you, but you can trust me when I say that I NEVER saw it coming.

Quite frankly, I thought that Matilda was dead. Given, I knew that she would show up at one point or another (whether in flashback or the current time), I wasn’t expecting it to be in this fashion. Knowing you, Angelo, you would have waited until the season finale to even give us a glimpse of her again. However, I guess I was wrong about your thought process.

Brett and Kylee’s child is a great addition. I’m disappointed that you didn’t actually cast a baby for that role. Shame on you, Angelo, shame on you. Another thing that I don’t like about the baby is that you left him in the car as bullets were being shot at it. Why would Mister S. be so careless? Why would you be so careless?

I did give Tony shit for this the other day about a DSR episode. One of my biggest pet peeves about stories is forgetting or not caring about the children. Writers can both do it on purpose or possibly carelessly, but whatever the case may be, I hate it when it happens. In real life, children come first 99% of the time. It should be the same for a fictional show, book, etc. Consider this spiel as me giving you shit concerning the same topic.

The Anemoi Sickness is quite a cool idea. I wonder how it was created or who what exact affect it will have on other when and if it is released into Los Angeles. I get the feeling that it will never see the light of day, as you’ll see expressed in my next theory. And yes, I will be doing new theories in every single review for every single series.

This was yet another finely written episode from the hands of Angelo Shrine. With a great ‘GOTCHA’ moment at the end and some great new insight through flashbacks, I would consider calling this episode my favorite of the season.

Walker - Episode 1x05 - To Tame A Land

Why exactly did Baines call Alec ‘Your Lordship’?

This episode got me hooked into Walker even more than I was before. I was very interested as to how the cliffhanger would be resolved. My one worry was that there wouldn’t be enough material to cover an entire two episodes, but I was quickly proved wrong.

I’m going to start off with a problem I had with this episode, and then dive into what I enjoyed. Simply put, I feel that the ending was rushed. I also wished it would have been resolved differently. Here we are in this battle between two Knights and this evil force, yet Sam simply stands up and he and the other spirits basically engulf Milligan. It was towards the end of the script to, so that made me think it was a quicker way to get out of the situation. There, my problem is out of the way now.

After this episode, I want to see more of Kate. After 1x04, I wasn’t interested enough in her. Now I am. Her relationship with Jackson picked up very quickly, leading to the kiss at the end. I hope that their relationship will grow, but with Kate not being a lead, that is doubtful. MAKE KATE A LEAD!

I enjoyed seeing how the other troops stood up for their own men and went against Galloway. I never liked him, from the start of the last episode. I feel like he was written that way, too. Galloway was a character that was bad, but I thought he would get his way. Thankfully, he was stopped, which is something I didn’t see coming.

Overall, this was another great episode. It resolved the previous cliffhanger, but it also took up two episodes, with no mention of the larger mystery – Spartacus.

I look forward to the next episode, especially with the title. Boone is the lead that we know the least about, so hopefully we’ll get to know more about him (And we better since the episode is named after him!).

Walker - Episode 1x04 - The Cradle

This first true cliffhanger was awesome. On top of the main cliffhanger, though, we also have a bunch of smaller ones. What does the hole in the skull mean? What does Jackson know that he isn’t telling Kate? What exactly is going on with Sam? How in the hell can Alec be wrong about something? All are great questions that I can’t wait to get answers to.

A point that I want to bring up is the fact that Alec was wrong. Here he is saying that Sam isn’t possessed and that it is something else, yet it even says in the script that the people following Sam are possessed – which means to me that Sam is too. No real answers have been given as to what is going on with him, but I’m sure that they’ll figure out eventually.

I wasn’t all that happy about the reactions of the others when Alec flashed white. I expected Kate or Iris to be freaking out, but no. Iris is just upset, while Kate acts calm, cool, and collected. I think Kate should have questioned things more.

I enjoyed Baines in this episode. His relationship with Alec is well played and they have a great connection to one another. I hope their past is something that is explored. While Baines doesn’t interest me quite as much as Mr. Jones, I still would like to see more of him.

While this episode did keep me sucked into just as much as the previous, I still didn’t enjoy this episode as much as the last. I felt too much time was spent with the group while the cooking and drinking was going on. That was my main problem with the entire script. Although the dialogue kept me interested, it did seem to drag on for longer than it should have. Nonetheless, this was another great episode.

Walker - Episode 1x03 - Ash and Bone

What the hell is a “full English”?

This episode is the first of the series that hasn’t been written by you, Adam. I give Chris some huge props for this episode, yet another Walker episode that has blown me away. I have to be completely honest that this is my favorite episode yet. I was sucked right in to the scripts within the first few pages and (with the comedic aspects and action) I stayed into it until the end. It takes a lot to hold me interest, and this episode definitely succeeded in that.

I want to think about the ending first. As soon as it was brought up that Danny had been bitten by a vampire, I thought Boone was secretly the cause. I thought it would have been a great cliffhanger to end on. However, on the final page, we see that it was Paige. You can’t just let me have the easy way with a theory, can you Adam?

Mr. Jones was amazing in this episode. I hope that we can see more of him in the future. I enjoyed his character more than I did the leads in this episode. He had a great vibe to him and a great personality. He would make jokes, yet be completely serious. I loved the quote about how “bravery is just stupidity with its hair combed and a tie on.” That was the best line in the entire script.

As each episode goes on, Boone seems to be hiding something more and more. I get the feeling that his past haunts him. While we’re on the track of people’s pasts – Alec also seems like he will do whatever it takes to keep things secret. He doesn’t even like to talk to his friends about past events. I just hope that his past is told at one point or another.

Chloe also continues to be the most well-rounded character in the group. Though, this is probably just because she is the only ‘normal’ one out of the bunch. Her interaction with Rufus was great. Rufus is also another Guest Star that I hope we can see more of. He seemed to have some conflicting emotions this episode, so I hope that if we do indeed see him in the future, he has completely overcome them (it does seem like he did at the end of the episode, but you never know).

Walker - Episode 1x02 - Sanctuary

THIS… IS… SPARTA!!!!!

I’m very excited to dive back into Walker! I read the first episode on premiere day and thoroughly enjoyed what I had read. I’m now ready to catch up with the series, having re-read the first episode a few days ago.

Back in the pilot, I remember the one character with the most sense of humor was, without a doubt, Jackson. However, in this episode, I feel that every character (at least of our core four) was comedic in some way in at least one scene. In a series like this, you need that type of humor though. It keeps the show rolling and can give the reader a little chuckle.

Chloe is becoming one of my favorites, from this episode alone. I wasn’t the biggest fan of her in the first episode, but now I am. Alec, Jackson, and Boone all seem to feel as though she isn’t needed. But, you can easily tell that Chloe sincerely wants to be a part of this team and wants to prove her worth. With her calming and easing Cassidy out of ghoul form, I think the 3 men realize now that she can come in handy. Also, Chloe seems to have more emotion than the other characters.

Alec’s story about Madagascar (BANANA!) and the embarrassment was interesting. I wonder if this story will be explored more in the future or not, or if it has any vital importance at all. The way that both Alec and Jackson avoided Chloe’s question on the subject do seem somewhat suspicious, or they could simply be too embarrassed to talk to about it.

Cassidy killing herself seemed like a fitting ending for her. She was devastated that West was gone and was absolutely miserable. I wonder if she would have done the same had Paul still been alive, but part of me thinks that since she knew the life, she would have one way or the other.

I liked the hints that we’ve been dropped in this episode. Spartacus is the big one (which made me think of the first line of this review). Plus, Boone seems to be hiding something. I’m not sure we’ll get any answer to those any time soon, but I guess we’ll have to see.

Shackles - Episode 3x04 - Six Years of Static

All I can say is that it is great to pick up right where I left off. It wouldn’t be so great, however, if it hadn’t been written by the fabulous Angelo Shrine. You continue to amaze me with story lines, plots, and most importantly cliffhangers. Shackles is by far one of the (if not, THE) best Virtual Series around. Not only is written entirely by one of the most amazing writers, but it just has such an amazing story that no matter how hard you try, it draws you right back in again. Anyway, that is enough with the praise for the show as a whole. We need to talk about the episode itself now.

As you know, I am a bit rusty. Not just on Shackles, but on all the other series out there. I remember the main aspects of the show, most by just thinking what I’ve loved in the series so far (you know, like all my favorite guest stars being killed off). Oh, and don’t think that I forgot this normal statement that you got from me – DAMN YOU ANGELO!

This episode picks up, as usual, right where the last one left off. I had re-read 3x03. That was my main concern coming in, but I found myself remembering more than I thought I would. Coming into 3x04, I had a feeling that I’d feel like this was premiere of sorts and in a sense, it was. If I wasn’t given an episode number or title, I would swear that 3x03 was a finale for a season and that 3x04 was the next season premiere.

Now despite the great writing and story, the episode itself was also great! I feel like how our group got Jonathan out of the situation was really good. It goes to show the planning that goes into the show. I also loved the reliving of Duncan’s death. Being able to see Brett’s reaction to the scene was a fantastic idea and for me, made the episode.

Kylee and Brett seem MEANT to be together. It has to be written in the stars. They’re the perfect couple and have their problems, just like any other couples do. However, this problem involves a betrayal. Betrayal can make or break any relationship, so it’ll be interesting to see how they mend the rift in their relationship… if they ever do.

Clarissa’s speech set us up completely for the final scene of the episode. It was obvious that people from all over the world would be seeing it and that if Jonathan got out of the memories, he would have problems, both from people within The Annulus, as well as in the outside world. I loved the last scene - Jonathan is shot as he is being pursued. This is probably one of the better cliffhangers that we have been left with on this show, so hopefully it has a good payoff.

And finally, something new that I’m doing in all of my reviews is called Jimbo’s Next Theory, which is all about predicting what will come in the future of the show based on the events in the episode. So, without further ado…

Jonathan will end up running back to The Annulus, leading that group of people there as well. Perhaps that group will try to fight their way inside.

The DSR - Episode 4x02 - Divergence

This was an unexpected pick-up from the premiere. With how The DSR normally is, we have to wait for answers. But to my surprise, we have a lot of them already. I was expecting to have to wait a while before we found out what had happened to the others during the events of the season premiere. The answers we did get were great, and were yet again told in a great way.

Surprisingly enough, my first ever Jimbo’s Next Theory actually came true (partly). Ethan is, at this point, going to start working for somebody else – specifically the President. With The DSR on the verge of being closed down, I can definitely see the US government playing a much larger role this season then they had in the past.

I must also say, it was a superb idea to cast Naveen Andrews as Chahine. All of his dialogue was amazingly written, as I could see him actually playing the role. Chahine becoming the moster-like creature was great and quite frankly freaked me out a bit. I wonder if the creatures running after Jai and company were injected with the same substance as Chahine gave himself.

Also, I loved the E.T. joke that Rayen made by the way. It’s the only good E.T. joke I’ve ever heard, and it was funny as hell.

Finally, I think I may have found a continuation error in this one. In the premiere, the television reporter in the alternate world said that it had been 1 year after the event. However, this episode takes place about 1 MONTH after the event. Does this mean anything, or was this actually an error?

Oh, and 1 more question, super quick. I don’t recall whether this was brought up in previous episodes or not, so please tell me if it was so I know for future reference. Sorry…

Had we heard about Kendall’s wife being ‘at large’ before? I just don't remember at all.

The DSR - Episode 4x01 - The Family Man

All I have to say is… WOW. This was such a great thing to read to get me in the groove to try and reach my goal of 101 scripts in a month. Honestly, after all this time I forgot how amazing it was to read your writing, Tony. Reading this single episode was a treat in itself.

I came in not expecting to remember a damn thing about this show. I took a look at the characters and found myself remembering. I also recalled the cliffhanger of the 3rd season, but not the minor details. However, the format of this episode was perfect for someone like me who had a huge gap between seasons. The short flashes definitely helped me remember what had happened.

So, now let’s get to some talk on the story itself. Simply put, it was perfect. From start to finish, I was sucked in. I did have to go the bathroom at one point and literally thought about just grabbing a bottle in order to keep reading.

This is probably the first time I can remember seeing Jai truly happy, but also very confused. He knew that something was up, but just like Mia, couldn’t figure out what.

Jai was so well written in this episode. My only problem is that HE FORGOT THE CHILDREN! He has these wonderful kids, yet he pulls a Jin and completely forgets about them. That was my main pet peeve with the entire episode. He said that he’d be right back, but we never even saw Jai or Cassie return home. You forgot about the children, Tony. That tells me that you have no heart. :)

The ending was fantastic. Jai continues to relive this devastation of losing Cassie over and over again. So far, she hasn’t had her life end on her accord. This time, she had Jai’s best interest in mind and I think this is something that Jai will understand that may help him cope with yet another loss. After the final scene, though, I have a feeling that he may not be sad at all and will go back to focusing on the DSR.

And now, for a new feature that I plan to include in all reviews that I do is going to be called Jimbo’s Next Theory. This is where I’ll come up with a theory for the future based on the events of the episode. So…

Jimbo’s Next Theory
Ethan might actually be working for somebody else. He has seemed quite fishy in the past, so maybe the fact that he is working with someone else in this alternate world isn’t quite a coincidence. After all, it was strongly emphasized that while SOME things are different, others are not.

Walker - Episode 1x01 - Brave New World

What a piece of rubbish...

Is what a complete idiot would say! Adam, I think most would assume that you were nervous as to how much people would like this first episode of your first ever series. I for one thought that it was better then most pilots here on MZP!!

Something that I nomally hate in a script is something that happened in this one, which was no act breaks. I rate them alongside long, extended finales. There is always that difficulty with keeping someone like me sucked into the script the entire time throughout. Amazingly enough, I was sucked in and waiting to see what would happen next consistently and I'm not even sure that I could say there was one boring scene in the whole shabang. It was just that good.

Our group as a whole is great. We have one Knight, a guy to look after our Knight, a vampire, and an agent with MI:16. What a group. I wonder if any conflict with arouse between the four, although, they seem like very well-rounded characters, perfectly capable of getting along.

Alec is interesting, especially as our Knight. With him, I'm interested to see how often he will push himself beyond his limit. I mean, he did it two or three times in just this episode alone. It'll be interesting to see how he continues to recover from occurences like this, looking near dead, and how Jackson will look after him.

Speaking of Jackson... He might just be my favorite character of our core four. He appears somewhat laid back, like in the menu scene, but at the same time, when it's time for action, he is ready and more kick ass then ever. He is definitely one of the more humorouse of the bunch and how he acted with the menu scene might have just made that scene my favorite of the episode. I'm looking forward to see how Jackson developes.

Then we have Chloe. We start out with this mysterious girl, apparently on a job hunt, discover that she is really working on the inside, undercover for MI:16, and then she eventually joins up with our group to help with their new missions and such. She is the only woman out of our four, but she appears well-trained, definitely kick ass, and smart. I will be interested to see how she adaptsto helping our team though.

Finally, we got Boone, the vampire of our four. Amazingly enough, I didn't realize it was possible for a vampire to be able to control bloodlust as much as Boone does. He can unleash it, but then calm down and get over it just as fast... at least as far as we can tell. I get the feeling this bloodlust may eventually cause our group a problem, although I truly hope it doesn't.

All in all, a great pilot episode, Adam. This series has the potential to be truly kick ass. But based on your normal, amazing quality of scripts, Adam, I'm sure you have absolutely nothing to worry about!

Also, way to shamelessly promote Schism: Black Dragon at the end there!

Giant spaceships appear over all major cities of the world, the alien "Visitors" claiming to come in peace. As some humans begin to doubt the sincerity of the Visitors, Homeland Security agent Erica Evans discovers that the aliens have spent decades infiltrating our governments and businesses and are now in the final stages of their plan to take over the planet. Erica joins the resistance movement, which includes Ryan, a Visitor sleeper agent who wants to save humanity. However, the aliens have won favor among the people of Earth by curing a variety of diseases, and have recruited earth's youth, including Erica's son, to serve unknowingly as spies.

This remake of the old Mini-Series of the same name hits our screens soon... well, not really. We won't be seeing this one all the way until Tuesday November 3rd, 2009. With all the anticipation, it would be incredibly stupid for ABC to not give us a premiere date, as it is even more idiotic of the network to call this a mid-season worthy show, when in reality, it isn't. It should be on their official fall schedule and should be coming within the next month. Oh well, at least we'll get some.

According to E! online, on a rating from 1-10, they'd give it an 11. The pilot episode recieved rave reivews across the board and is definitely going to be a huge contender in the ratings race when this starts to air. Of course, the hype that will build from this wait will only help.

V earns the #5 spot on my list because of how great it seems and obviously is. The only problem is, this is a remake of a mini-series, so I think the show itself will have many challenges to overcome on terms of, how do you continue the story from a mini-series to one that is full-fledged and could go on for many seasons and also, how will the remake be more successful then the original. We have to face it, what remakes nowadays have been nearly as popular as its original or even more so, which remakes have even been remotely successful? Maybe V can stand out.

V premieres Tuesday November 3rd @ 8PM only on ABC!

#4 - The Vampire Diaries
The Vampire Diaries is based on a novel series penned by L.J. Smith where you are given the insight into the diary of Elena Gilbert. Elena had always been a star student; beautiful, popular and involved with school and friends. As the fall semester begins, Elena becomes fascinated with the mysterious new boy in school, Stefan Salvatore, and she has no way of knowing he is a centuries-old vampire. While Stefan struggles to live peacefully among humans, his brother Damon is the embodiment of violence and brutality. Now these two vampire brothers-one good, the other evil-are at war for Elena's soul in the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia.

Interestingly enough, I can't wait to see this one. Just like V, the series will have many challenges. These are just because this new series is based off of a book series of the same name. There aren't all that many book spin-offs that make it as television shows. Normally, you find this kind of thing as a movie, not television.

The series has a great star on hand, mainly in that of Ian Somerhalder from Lost fame. Hopefully this won't be the only good thing the show has going for it. If the cards are played right, this very well could be a hit from The CW, something the network doesn't usually get.

The thing that'll be even more difficult for the series is the competition from the more major networks in that time slot. The show will air on Thursdays at 8PM, a time slot full of competition from Survivor, the new Flash Forward, Bones, and NBC comedies SNL Thursday Weekend Update and Parks and Recreation. Personally, I plan to watch most of the shows in this time slot, so I'll be looking at some shows out this that aren't up to par and as this one comes from the CW, whether it'll be any good or just normal, crappy, CW drama has yet to be seen.

The Vampire Diaries premieres Thursday September 10th @ 8PM only on The CW!

#3 - Three Rivers
This is the story of an acclaimed transplant hospital and the team, which hold life and death in their hands everyday. The team is comprised of Dr. Andy Yablonski, the lead surgeon; Dr. Miranda Foster, a woman trying to live up to her father's reputation; Dr. David Lee, a resident more interested in his private affairs; Ryan Abbott, the new transplant coordinator struggling to balance the aspects of his job; Pam Acosta, the surgical nurse and Dr. Sophia Jordan, the head of surgery who needs to keep everyone in line. Every case is viewed from the perspective of the team, the recipient and the donor.

Three Rivers is up there as a show I really don't want to wait anymore for. I've been waiting for CBS to come up with a good idea like this ever since that older CBS medical drama (what the hell was it called!?!?) failed horribly. Three Rivers actually has some potential coming out of it and has a great star on their side with Alex O'Loughlin. He was great in Moonlight (shot down before its time) and I'm happy to see him back on television, and on the same network too.

The problem looming here is how can you keep a transplant drama interesting, as there are only so many things that you can transplant, right? So how this show could go as long as hits such as Grey's Anatomy and House has yet to be seen. I do know one thing, if by the fourth or fifth episode, I'm still watching this, I doubt I'll ever stop.

Three Rivers premieres Sunday October 4th @ 9PM only on CBS!

#2 - Flash Forward
Dubbed ABC's 'companion series to Lost, this drama project is based on Robert J. Sawyer's sci-fi novel of the same name. The plot centers around an eerie, chaotic vision of the future after a mysterious event makes everybody in the Earth to lose consciousness. Later, as people start waking up, the world starts changing because people know their future.

You knew this had to be on my Top 5 list somewhere, right? Anyway, Flash Forward, as said above, is being called the new Lost - the show that will be the hit on ABC once Lost is done and gone. I've expressed my problems with this in the past, and that mainly lies within what was just said, what ABC is calling this.

We'll get one of two things out of this show. It'll either be an entirely new and amazing show that'll blow our socks of... OR it'll be another Lost with the same style of mysteries and unanswered questions and such, and even with some of the same actors and actresses. 2 people from Lost are already cast on the show on regulars or at least recurring roles. What will become of this will have to wait to be seen, as the story itself is kind of confusing at the moment. How can one group of people save the entire world from complete chaos is a more major question.

Flash Forward will have competition in its time slot, as it will air Thursdays at 8PM. However, this definitely has the potential to win the hour above all others. How will this one stack up against its competition? I can't wait to see...

#1 - Glee
Didn't know the world of high school glee clubs was tough? Fox is set to expose all the drama and intensity in a one-hour comedy musical from Nip/Tuck creator Ryan Murphy. Glee is produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Ryan Murphy Television.

This is 110% the show that I most anticipate for this fall season. I just can't wait for it to come! This is one of the few (and I think the only) show where we got to see the pilot months in advance on national television, out of all things. It was absolutely amazing.

The show has been predicted to be one of two things. A) a complete bust or B) the breakout hit of the season. I would personally prefer B for sure! It'll be a shame if it isn't well liked once it begins its airing run, as so much work has been put into it by the actors and actresses and so much money has been spent on this product by the network, it would be dissapointing to both the people behind the scenes that work on the show and the network itself. What you see is what you get, and hopefully we will see and get one of the greatest new shows of the season!

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x11 - Cat's Got Your Tongue

This episode wasn't quite as good as some of the past episodes. It was a lot slower in my eyes and not quite as funny. Unfortunately, I guess there is just always that episode that doesn't really float my boat, and this just so happened to be one of them.

The stories themselves were unique and the title of the episode was probably one of my favorites so far, as it combines two different 'stories' in the episode.

And I mean, whether you researched it or not, great job with the guy yelling to put fingers in the guys mouth when he was having the seizure, because I've always been taught that that is what your supposed to do, as most tongue that are bitten off happen as a result of seizures. And if I'm wrong or something, it means both you and my school teachers are to blame!

When Kitty was first introduced, I laughed my ass off. Having Kitty using the toilet and Galena using the litter box was a great idea.

Don't get me wrong, the episode was good, but I just didn't feel as though it was up to par with some from earlier on in the season. But nonetheless, decent.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x10 - Christmas Spirit

As you, Angelo, already know from previous work such as Shackles, I am always a HUGE fan of Christmas episodes. This was another great Christmas one right here!

Some high points of the script were with Yagloo being Santa, out of all possible things and Prague being an elf. Nothing could top those scenes, especially when Yalgoo decides that it was time to rap.

I'm waiting to see if the seriousness throught the trial that the judge demands will actually happen, because lets face it, the judge wasn't completely serious in the past either. I get the feeling Rudolph will not listen to the judge and continue to act his same way. I swear, everytime he is in that wheelchair, I wanna through a brick at the dude.

I'm really happy to see London changing a bit at the end of this episode. I highly doubt his being 'nice' any child or any adult will last, but I guess I'll just have to see.

As to who stole the roof, I don't even know how to think about that. Who the hell steals a roof? Maybe it was Rudolph. Who knows? I tell you, only in Weeki Wachee...

Another hilarious episode of Weeki Wachee!

My favorite scene by far had to be the one with Singapore and Yalgoo with Yalgoo's parents, having dinner. Not only was the point about the water first put in there after the poisoning had been discovered, but Singapore talking about Yalgoo and her in bed was so funny that I even read that scene over again a few times!

The scenes toward the ending, when McElliot is going crazy, (or should I say his bones were going crazy) I found that scene just a little hard to follow. I couldn't figure out what exactly was going on.

Besides that, another great script from you, Angelo. Weeki Wachee is definitely becoming one of my big favorites right now! You can't hate this show or even dislike it, you have to love it. It seems like it has something for everyone...

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x08 - Mermaid

I actually get the feeling that Golombia's son may have committed the murder, though since it was brought up the way it was, there is by no means a way to be sure right now.

Rudolph is a great character, he is just so funny. I loved the rushed, rapid-fire scene. It is just so amazing of an idea, and I hope that we'll get another rapid-fire scene, whatever characters it may be, at some point. It was just too great.

I also loved the Clinton comment made about how he didn't do it unless he was a good of a lier as Clinton. One of the best jokes that has been on this show yet.

I think this episode really focused more on just the comedy aspect, compared to the story itself. More jokes were made and all then most previous episodes, and as the beginning of the trial didn't need to take up much of the episode, it was a pleasant treat to have all the great comedy to fill the rest in.

Schism - Special - Almost Twenty Years

I can already tell that this is gonna be a really good series...

The Schism is something that has never been made quite clear to us in the short time it was a big focus on The DSR. With new characters to get used to and a brand new central story, this was a great treat.

In so many ways, this is The DSR, yet in other ways it isn't so much. Something that I think is a lot different is of course the characters. I dont know how someone can come up with so many characters, each with their own diverse personalities like you, Tony!

To start, you dirty dog, Tony. No wonder you told me to read this before Season 4 of The DSR. Quinn, now called Sylan, has been revived and is now alive and well as far as I can tell. Of course, he is sad because now he is gone from Mia, seemingly forever, though I would like to hope they would see eachother again at some point. I'll be interested to see what kind of path his character follows in this season.

Rachel is the best character out of them all. She is so different then the others, with such a great personality. She obviously wants revenge, and in the first episode (not even the first episode, the prologue special) she gets that revenge. Now the only question is, what will make her continue to be the prime character of the series? I can't wait to discover...

Todd is absolutely hilarious. In a sense, when I first started reading, I thought he mine as well be Marshall. The way I see it, he is Marshall, just a journalist. But despite the simularity, I really like him because I also love Marshall. Therefore, since Marshall is one I just can't imagine hating, I get the same feeling in that of Todd.

Max, Emeka, and Jun - the team. So they were past members of the Schism, but are no longer. I'm sure, especially Max, will meet some other prime Schism members that will result in some kick ass fighting. Iwill admit, I loved the fighting scenes and how each of the team seems to have a different weapon. It is something you don't see everyday anymore.

The episode itself isn't quite as good some of The DSR, but then again, it is a brand new monster. DSR is so great, so getting another story and getting the characters down is something that I'm sure took some time, and it was shown here how great of a writer Tony is since the characters were just so great. But as a featue length script, I thought it needed just a little more pa-zaaz to get me pumped up and not be able to put it down. However, I didn't entirely get that and found some events to be confusing and surprisingly, I just thought it needed that extra little something.

In some places, the story was repetitive. Like with Rachel wanting to help. She bugged and bugged, for them to finally give in. Then the fight sequence went by so fast that it was over and done with before you even knew. That was probably my only real problem, besides me just feeling like it needed that extra little something.

Now that the feature length script is out of the way, onwards with the official 11 episode season!

Holy. Shit. To. The. Extreme.

Every season, the big finale never ceases to amaze me. The cliffhangers especially because each season, they get less and less predictable in a sense. As in, you don't have a damn clue as to what is going to happen next in the fourth season. Not to say I didn't in the first two, but definitely more so this time around because this ending just makes your brain straight up turn to mush. End. Of.

And like I said, what the hell is even going on right now, I don't know. The only thing I can possibly think is alternate universe, but that is just a complete and utter guess...

This second part of the finale was definitely a bit slower paced then the previous first part. We began with the end of the battle between the Trust and the OTC, then things settled down a bit in the middle, but after that got crazy again for the big ending. The first part was action packed throughout, but despite that fact, I enjoyed this a bit more because it gave me a much needed breather because even in a big finale like this, you need a little breather at least for one page. Instead we got a few extra, but I'm happy with the episode nonetheless.

Julia's part here was pretty cool. A big question is what exactly will happen to her? And even more so, who is this Jennifer person that apparently was Ethan's wife? I can't wait to find all that out and more...

Like most past DSR episodes and especially finales, I hadn't a clue what would happen next, and I'm also happy to say that I don't have to lay a beat down on you, Tony, for killing Sara since you of course didn't...

I can't wait to read Schism (yes, I will, Tony!) and then get on with Season 4 this fantastic show, The DSR!

The DSR - Episode 3x22 - Sanctum (Part 1)

Well, in the first of this two part finale, I'm left wondering what in the hell will happen in the actual final episode. This had finale quality all over it, if you don't count a crazy and amazing season ending cliffhanger, which you can only get in the actual finale.

I am so impressed with this one. This entire episode was action paced throughout and by the time I got to the last page, I was thinking about not even reviewing this and jumping straight into the last of the two parts. But, I couldn't help reviewing, just to get some of this awesomeness out of my system.

I wonder what will happen with Etan and Mia fighting up on the roof? Is Sara really dead, or is tony pulling another fast one? Will Julia kill Kendall? Will Jai and company kill Harrison? All of these questions I'm dying to get answers about whether it is in the second part or the forth season... and if I don't then that means... beat down time, Tony...

Like I've already said... I hate you, Tony...

Why? WHY!?!?!?!? WHY did you have to kill Quinn? He was for sure one of my favorite characters on the show throughout the series so far. He will definitely be missed. The only problem I have as of now concerning his death is that Mia isn't as heartbroken as she thinks she is. Mia was devastated when her first love tragically died. Now of course, it happens a second time, and she doesn't appear devasted, just upset. She just fell in love with this new guy, and is suddenly taken away from her all of a sudden, and you would think she would be angry and sad enough to where she doesn't know what to do with it and bursts. Instead, to me, she seemed as though she was trying to contain herself. But just watch her be pregnant...

Breen is shot. I wonder why he didn't just die like most others would when shot in the chest. I also wonder what role this Phoenix will play come these final 2 episodes...

Not much more to say here. I get the feeling this one will have set up great for this upcoming two part finale. Time to get with reading that...

So one of this show's relationships finally begin to blossom in this one. I'm quite excited that something has finally happened between Quinn and Mia... well more then a basic kiss of course! If Quinn does indeed leave forever soon, Mia will be absolutely heartbroken. She finds someone that she loves again, and they would be gone again. That would really suck...

Rayen on one hand, may be acting on what she thinks is right. While on the other hand, she is acting more villianous than good. It she has been told that the Trust aren't the good guys and that the OTC are, why is she going to continue to help Julia and company? I did like how she ended up getting lied to about the warehouse location though.

I now wonder why exactly Ethan must kill Carson, or was it Quinn that Ethan had to kill? I was kind of confused on that front. I do get the feeling that Carson is not dead (and the BANG! was most likely her shooting Ethan, instead of Ethan shooting Quinn) and if she is (despite my distrust of her character), I'll rogue on your ass, Tony!

Hip, hip, hooray! The truth behind Quinn is FINALLY revealed...

I was wanting to find out about Quinn as soon as I got to the last page of 3x09. Then, he was suddenly gone and not so much of a mention in some episodes. It eventually got to where I started forgetting about him and then BAM! Quinn is back, although not awake. So we wait a few episodes and then when he wakes up, we got this story that, unfortunately, I found only decent.

To me, the letter business was somewhat hard to figure out. How exactly did the letter get there. I know Mondas said something about his future, but how could Mondas possibly go back in time? Also, what exactly was the letter revealing. I didn't think it said 'cut yourself in the same place' or anything like that. Amazingly enough, I found the high point of his story being when he kills Isabelle. Also, if all of this time Kovas swore to kill Quinn, why didn't Kovas do so the first chance he got? Maybe there is more to the story that hasn't been revealed, but all in all, Quinn's story was good, but only par for the course. It wasn't as exciting as I thought it would be, though it did indeed have both it's highs and lows.

And FINALLY with Ethan's family business. I'm so happy that were gonna start getting into this one now. Tony, you said that it would be huge when it did eventually happen. Well, it looks like things are about to get down and dirty concerning his attempted murder and his wife, and I just gotta say that I can't wait! Anticipation = EXTREME!

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow...

I mean, I'm completely speechless as to that ending right now. So, this whole time, they've been dealing with the Deck of 52, when in all actuality, it wasn't ever real and never actually existed? This was something that I never would have thought of to happen, let alone the mastermind behind it all is a character introduced to the series itself only one episode ago.

I'm currently wondering why Julia did nothing to try and stop Kendall at the very end, as well. They are technically enemies, so why doesn't she pop his ass when she has the chance?

I will say, I'm loving the direction that this show is taking now. Like the past two season's finales (and even the past two season's last few episodes), I'm sure this season will be crazy from probably here on until the very end of the season.

There are som many things I can't wait to see, get answers to, and have happen, that it'll probably be hard for me to stop reading this damn show anytime soon!

So we finally get to see that Ace of Spades, Anton again, and Kendall with hair (as promised in the first S2 podcast)!

The Ace of Spades - Lao Chei. I honestly don't think that he is one of the following - A) The Ace of Spades or B) The Deck leader. From his comments, it makes me think that one of those two things are not so true. As to which, I don't have the slightest idea right now.

I was very happy to get a little glimpse of Anton again. Although it was a flashback with Anton and the flashback itself was also made memorable by seeing Kendall with hair, it was a pleasant treat that I would like to hope we'll see again.

Then comes 'Rayen the Rat'. That is my brand spanking new nickname for her. Does she even have a damn clue what she is doing here? She pretty much rats out Jai, Mia and then rest of the OTC (despite the fact that Julia already knows, as that is besides the point). It just goes to show that Rayen cannot be trusted, whatsoever.

Very pleased with this episode and another great one from Adam...

Well, it looks like this final stretch is really starting now.

The hunt for the Ace of Spades appears to be in full swing. Meanwhile, Rayen must be told about the OTC, Carson is being blackmailed yet again, something very mysterious is going on with Ethan and the equally mysterious Jennifer Nichols, and last but not least, Quinn turns up (HOLY HELL!) out of absolutely nowhere. Yeah... I'd say things are definitely heating up!

So, I'm gonna start off with the big turn out at the end of the episode... Quinn! There are SO many questions conerning him. Where has he been? How did he get to the present? What happened to him? Why was he in a box?? So many uestions, so little time. Hopefully they'll all be answered soon enough!

Then this myserious Jennifer Nichols. There are so many posibilities as to how her death and Ethan are connected. I think it is quite obvious that Ethan probably murdered the poor woman, but of course, I may be being mislead on this one. Also, I'm sure that Sara will start butting her head into this mystery, like she usually does when she asks a question and is given a suspicious answer.

I'm wondering how exactly Rayen will react to everything that Jai and Mia tell her. This is also considering that they actually will tell her the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth...

And finally, Carson seems to be getting blackmailed yet again, this time by Julia. I'm pretty sure arson will do it because since the beginning of the series, I've found Carson a person who should be very hard to trust, and hopefully now some other members of PBH and OTC will see the same thing.

A fabulous episode by Dino (probably the best of his that I've read) that ranks up there with some of the best of the season...

It was pretty cool to see more of Sark in this one. As far as I can tell, he was a much loved Alias character, although he is definitely more of a villian then anyone even remotely good. I wonder, though, if it is really that easy to step down from the Deck.

I do hope that we'll see more of Sark, because I was really enjoying his character in this one. It is almost like that he is the bad guy in everything, but doesn't want to come off as that bad guy. He is a very unique and confusing character, indeed.

We got another Sara based episode in this one, and next to Anton-centric episodes, Sara would probably be a close second. I'm still waiting to see if that necklace will play any more of a role this season...

I really don't have much to say. I thought it was really good and kept me sucked in through the entire thing. Another great DSR script from Lee!

To start this off, I take it that Katya is from Alias? I sort of figured it, per your comment. This is what really sucks though is that I'm sure I'd enjoy it more having watched Alias, but of course, I haven't. Although, I'm not really sure that I'm getting less of an experience, just more so that I'm experiencing these characters for the first time, while others already know who these characters are, along with their personalities.

I did find myself, for the first time in a while, getting a bit bored in the middle of the story. There wasn't all that much going on in my eyes, but the beginning and end were both great.

I loved that one little moment with Sara and Rayen venting some thing to one another, while also not listening to eachother. Classic humor there and something that is good to see on this action packed show every so often.

I hope we'll get to see Lexa sometime soon and hopefully we'll see the results o her actions. Plus, I really hope we'll see this damn Ace of Spades sometime soon. My current theory is that its Rhindhart, but I guess I'll have to wait and see...

Mia's sister is Elle!! NEVER expected that!

We've never seen Elle before, only heard. So it was really cool to finally put the face to the dialogue, but I never expected that face to be Mia's sister! I did feel like it could have been a bit more of a dramatic beat moment then it was. I thought it had the potential to even be an episode cliffhanger, but then I felt like it was like a 'oh, she is my sister, but lets forget about that and just continue' deal.

Also, this Mr. Chairman dude is pretty creepy to me. So he is a big head goverment dude, and then turn around and he runs the Trust and of course is in league with Julia... This is one crazy and twisted world you got going here, Tony.

We really did see a lot of new faces here. My only question is about the King of Hearts, AKA Julian Sark. It seemed to me like it was supposed to be a 'holy crap, thats him' moment for the viewers because of the line '...and it’s a finely-tailored JULIAN SARK!', but I don't remember him from any past episodes. Am I just missing a past appearance of him, or am I over analyzing it...

Nonetheless, yet again, very impressed. Can't wait to get to this final 10 episode stretch of episodes!

What a big reveal in this one, which definitely makes a few of my theories correct...

First off, Kendall is indeed just 'undercover' like I thought. More-so called a double agent, but thats basically the same thing in my eyes. It is pretty cool how the CIA are involved with everything. We've never really seen anybody from PBH directly involved with them before, so even S3, there are firsts. What really interested me was who you, Tony, picked to be in on everything aready. I'm surprised that Sara wasn't in on any of it, but then again, it was a well hidden part of the show because I didn't have a clue that Marshall, Mia, and Carson had known this entire time.

I'm very happy to see the whole Ethan/Rayen relationship starting to brew some more. I can't wait for Ethan to ask her out and he end up falling flat on his ass! No, but really, I think they would be pretty good together. Speaking of relationships, I wonder if Jai will ever be with anybody by the end of the show... maybe Sonja...

Another great and interesting episode, which as I read, I didn't have a clue what would happen next...

I'm happy that we got another Rayen focused episode here...

We haven't had one in a little bit, and she s definitely the character that I think has very little purpose, so I love having these kinds of episodes where she appears more center stage then the others.

I'm quite shocked that Kendall is the rat. I wonder what exactly he is trying to accomplish. I do get the feeling, however, that Jai won't be killing Kendall. Also, I think Julia might even be setting Kendall up. Kendall may have been investigating or going undercover in what we saw of him. Julia is a rat and can't be trusted, I'm calling that now, and if I'm wrong on that front, then I'll be VERY surprised.

Not much more to say about this one. A great idea with that Junk drug with the supernatural effects. A really good idea. Flashbacks were also large in this one and I love how these were written...

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x07 - To Break A Mirror

Another very interesting episode of Weeki Wachee. A great realization at the end. More then likely, Galena will go on the track of something like an argument, and then he pushed her off OR of course, she ate Everett's chocolate truffle and he got pissed and pushed her. One of those two.

I loved the son Sean in this one. Sayin everything twice was funnier then I thought it would be at first. I wonder if Sean will play any part in this murder case. I mean, it is his parents, you would think he would, but I'll have to see.

Not much more to say about this one besides the fact it was steadily paced and I enjoyed it...

High point of the episode for me... Kendall and Julia KISSED!!

This was a really great episode. First off, we get a look at a little bit of Ultra again in that of my favorite Willard Bains (Well, Michael Emerson is more of my favorite, but you get the point!). But then, of course to rain on my parade, you gotta go and kill him. Tony, you bastard!

I really don't think that Ultra is gone just because their lead dude is gone. I mean, if the President of CBS dies, does that mean that CBS, god forbide, no longer exists? Not at all. So what I see is less of an Ultra existing thing and more of a who will run Ultra thing.

Julia is a traitor in my eyes, pure and simple. She is pretty much working with the enemy, and then gives the enemy the person that she used to love and still seems as though she does. Another traitor, Zisman. I absolutely never expected it. He didn't seem like he was able to do such a thing, but I guess, as this is The DSR, it can happen and can definitely come as a surprise.

It is a wonderous thing to have Sara walking again. I thought you hurt her, Tony, but now I forgive you... for now...

I love how this show has this little ounce of mystery within the comedy.

The grim reaper is a character that I'm very interested in, like I've said before. So the reaper put the body in the air vent, not much of a surprise there. By the way he talks about it, I don't think the reaper murdered Golombia. Speaking of which, it was cool how the reaper talks. Never thought he would, so that came as a surprise.

I've never heard about mosquitoes 'biting' on someone's eye, but it was funny how everbody laughed when they saw him. I'm also loving London's little random sexual comments like, 'I'm horny', 'I want a divorce', stuff like that.

I liked how we also got a little break from the Golombia murder in this one. It was still brought up and all, but it wasn't the focus. So, I liked how we got that break and focused more on the reaper, the focus from the first episode.

What a way to just go out and completely fool my ass, Tony!

This whole entire time (well at least since 3x08), I've been going around thinking that the events in 3x08 were from earlier in Quinn's life, but it turns out, these episodes could have been switched. So 3x08 actually takes place after 3x09, just in a different period of time because of Quinn's ability which I still don't think we know all the details of and... Damn, is this show Lost all of a sudden??

ANYWAY... I remember that statement that Quinn made in 3x08 to Isabelle about how he had someone else. That statement went absolutely over my head at that point, but now, I know he was talking about Mia.

My only thing is, how did Quinn get out of being back in time, or, is he really even older then we thought, especially if he ended up living up until the present time and then goes back in time and has to live up until present time again... God damn Tony, this show is starting to get confusing...

I was dissapointed that Sonja seemingly won't be on the show for another while longer. She is a favorite of mine, but if that is the direction the show needs to go, then so be it.

Anyway, superb episode, with one hell of a turn out at the end. Up there as one of my favorites of the season!

A great episode. This one seemed like it might have been another one of those 'trying something new' episodes, especially considering we were at no point in present time. Surprisingly enough, I enjoyed this one though. I'm usually not a big fan of these types of episodes (like in 2x12, the Cole Travers episode), but I will say that I honestly liked this one.

I'm surprised by how much of this insight we suddenly get into Quinn and his surroundings. So the Schism is pretty much an ancient and secret group that he is a part of, and I guess even Kovas might be to. The big thing is, why such a big secret that needs to be murdered over and can't be found out about, even by The DSR? Thats my big question right now.

I also liked how this episode had the big secret villian type deal. Never in a million years would I have guessed it was the girl that payed them, but then again, we can't forget that it was Kovas who apparently convinced her to do so and even gave her the money for it in the first place.

Overall, I surprised myself by enjoying this, in particular over other experimental episdes... It wasn't the hgih point of the season by far, but it gave a bunch of good information that we've wanted to here from the previous episode, and also gave us a few new questions.

Plus, only 35 more episodes of The DSR! YAY!

Hip, hip, hooray! We get to see Sonja again!!

The high point of the entire episode for me was getting to see both Sonja AND Kovas Memnon for the first time this season. It looks like Sonja may start to come into PBH again. At least, of course, I hope she will, because she really was one of my favorite characters on the show last season.

And I guess Quinn really is hiding something, and it also seems to bigger then I ever could have thought. It was well played with his character up until this point. He starts out this mysterious dude and then it got to where you started to forget that at the beginning of this season. Then in this episode... BOOM! We discover he has this huge secret that we don't even know about. I'm definitely interested in seeing what exactly Quinn has to hide. I'm sure it something big and I would love to see how his secret would effect people like Mia and PBH.

And yet again, blown away by another Adam Scott script. For real, right now, Adam could very well be a king of scripts in my eyes... And now I really can't wait for Walker, especially with how good his DSR scripts are...

A great 50th episode of The DSR...

I was very impessed with this one. When you look at the special and this episode together, it is an insanely cool idea.

It was great because we get the one, shorter story in the special, and now in this episode we get the other side to the story, behind the concern of the technical difficulties. I didn't notice a phone call from Ethan anywhere in this one though. Was it there, or did I just miss it?

It was a stedily paced episode. It wasn't great (like not better then 3x05 in my eyes), but it wasn't bad or even decent either. It was just a really good episode. There was that excitement factor put in and that helped make the episode better as well.

True nerdiness is something that I usually don't like written. It takes that little something special to give you that one true nerd. However, as a surprise to myself even, I loved how the nerdy Kyle was and I think capturing the right kind of nerdiness was done amazingly.

We get our first ever Marshall episode as well. Harshall truly is a great character. Like I said before, I've never seen a single episode of Alias, but now I understand why everyone was hyped up about him being on this season. He is just great!

But man! 50 episodes, plus 3 specials!! Holy crap, that is a lot. At least I have less then half of those 80-something episodes I originally had to read left... Hopefully I'll still get them done by the end of August...

The DSR - Special - Juneau

This was around 30 pages, so I figured, what the hell? I'll review this baby...

I really enjoyed this special. I thought that on terms of pacing, it was amazing. I got confused at first though, because we suddenly have all these different groups of werewolves, besides that Lupans. And whats more, is apparently, these werewolves are scarier and tougher, and that has definitely been made hard to imagine through all the Lupan takeovers and attacks. Though, I didn't get all that confused because then it was explained more and I was like, 'Why didn't I pick up on that 5 minutes ago?'

What was good about this too was that it made me notice some relationships brewing. First off, Mia and Quinn. Two peas in a pod, no lie. Also, I could also see Rayen and Ethan starting to heat up, just based on the way they talk to one another.

All in all, a great little special. Hopefully it'll have some meaning. Like perhaps we'll be seeing more of these other groups of werewolves soon...

The DSR - Episode 3x05 - The Sleeper

This was the absolute shit!!

This episode is what I've been looking for so far this season. Like the past two seasons, I've felt that it always takes a while for me to get really sucked into the season and just plain not be able to put it down. This is what that episode set up for me, to where now, I'm hoping to get through the season fast, because I know (or hope) that there will be more episodes throughout this season just as good as this one.

Overall, this episode was kick ass, as now that we have the addition of Rayen, we have what appears to be the full team for the season, and them all working 'together' in the last act was just great.

I really like the tension that is escalating between Kendall and Julia. It is just so classic and you can't help but hope they'll get back together or something. In my opinion, those two are meant for eachother.

I can also definitely see some form of grudge beginning with Ethan towards Kendall. Etahn of course knows that Kendal and Julia had been together, so if Kendall keeps being the leader on missions and all, I could see Ethan getting pissed off about it. He probably wouldn't do what he did to Jai if this happened, but I'm sure that if it did, Ethan would be a little sissy about it nonetheless.

This probably just took over the title for my favorite script from Adam Scott. Utterely fantastic throughout the entire thing. I just felt that this episode stepped up so much compared to the previous episodes of the season. I'm gonna call this the kick-start that was needed to get the season going for me as a reader... GREAT!

Now onwards to that 32 page short and then The DSR's 50th episode! Can't wait!

The DSR - Episode 3x04 - A Room With No View

This was one of the more interesting episodes so far...

I found this episode having this certain intensity. The great part was, from the get-go, you realize I better be paying attention to this one, as a lot of new questions about Sara especially, came up in this one.

I personally wonder if she'll ever say anything to Kendall. I would have thought that she always knew based off of how Kendall said things. When Kendall came up to Sara in the library and offered her the job, I knew her father had connections and had asked him to.

I of course always enjoy the episodes where we get to see lead character's families. No matter if it one or many, it always is interesting. Its great to see how these family members nearly always play a role in the season. Like Anton's son Mark. Jai's Conner and Maggie of course. Mia's mother. Kendall's (ex)wife (are they still married and 'taking a break', or did they divorce? If it was said I forget.). Now it looks as though Sara's aunt will play some role... I'm still waiting on Ethan though, Mr. Black!!

Only problem was the scene where Sara was, I guess, in her own mind. I had trouble following and understanding that part, just a bit. With the people coming up and trying to figure out what was going, it started to overload my thoughts a bit there, but... yeah, it was just kind of confusing to me...

Overall though, more great work from Chris Haigh!

This was a great episode that introduces yet another character into the PBH stable...

I thought that Michelle Rodriguez was the perfect fit for the character Rayen. The personality traits are there. They are somewhat similar, but what I feel to be more harsh, then Lost character Ana Lucia who was played by the same actress. I could just Rodriguez playing Rayen. I mean, I'm kinda speechless, just plain perfect casting.

My only real problem with the character of Rayen is that I think she came off to strong from the get go.I mean, I know it was supposed to be immediately known that she had this asshole style attitude, but I feel like she would just start complaining and going off about stuff in irrational ways, but then again, that is just my opinion and might have been the goal for all I know.

I've started liking Quinn a bit more in this one. I love how he starts some random banter from time to time, or will pop in scenes out of nowehere. Mysteries of him aside, I think that other members of PBH could definitely trust him in the long run.

Now that Kendall and Julia are starting to talk more and all, just know Tony, that I'm waiting on them to kiss!! If they don't kiss, you owe me money!!

Also, what is up with this no Teaser nonesense?!?! Has it ever even been done before? And will we being seeing any more of it in this season and beyond, because I actually somewhat like it...

Yet again, another good DSR episode. And come to think of it, the first script I've read that came from Bobby Torres.

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x05 - The Pigman Cometh

We really get to another episode now that seemed more centered on London...

The past few episodes, we haven't seen London all that much. I was feeling like that in his brief appearances, he had changed a bit, but now that we see a lot more of him, I realize that I wrong. He is a favorite character of mine, nonetheless, because he is one of those unique charatcers that you don't normally see on other shows.

Seeing the grim reaper again was great and makes me think that he may soon have another appearance. I'm hopeful, because I think that the more we see him, of course the closer that we'll get to his identity being revealed, which is one happening that I highly anticipate.

I'm also growing to like Cairo, who was one character that I've always felt a little edgy about because she didn't seem to have much of a personality. I realized in this one that she really does care about others, but I also realized that in earlier episodes, she was really the anchor to London not going off on people.

And I was right, it looks like this case may go on a bit longer. It seems like this is on track to be a big arc of the season. After this episode, I don't think that the pig family is involved. I actually have this theory that the grim reaper killed Golombia and the grim reaper released a pig to try and cover his trail...

I'm happy to see the season's first not standalone episode...

This episode wasn't that funny to me, if you want me to be completely honest. I didn't laugh as much as previous ones, but then again, you can only make a town's first ever murder so funny. I did get a few laughs about how nobody could get Golombia's name right. I mean, I think Prague was the only one that could. That was quite a laugh.

All in all, I'm interested to see how long it'll take them to solve this murder case, but I do get the feeling that the husband murdered his wife. I just have that feeling... hopefully its right, becuase then Angelo will owe me a cookie!!

I found this episode keeping me sucked in, and I even laughed in a few places...

Surprisingly, I found this episode quite humorous, which is something I never thought I would have read in a DSR script. I felt like this episode was more layed back then nearly all others. It was kinda like, 'mostly everything was established in the first episode, so lets have some fun with this one'. I could just envision you saying that Tony!

But in all seriousness, this script was great and topped my previous favorite of a favorite script from Adam, which had been 2x06 - The Gathering Storm. Now this one takes the riegns, and now I'm left not being able to wait to read more!

This honestly is my least favorite of all of the 3 season premieres so far...

The episode was a good one. It appeared to have a goal of establishing everything for the new season, which of course is something that needs to be done. The sturcture of the episode was a strange one, especially no Teaser at the beginning of the script.

The flashes of Jai's memory were well played and were in good places, as to not entirely screw up the flow of the scene, I felt like they actually brought the scene together with a quick flash of new information.

For sure, everything has changed this time around, with the new location in New York instead of Nevada, as well as new people involved with the department. A great ending with the surprise 'that's my wife' line from Kendall. That dramtic beat before the DSR is cut to was great.

I did feel the episode's pacing not as good as some others, but at the same time, I realize that this episode was more about establishing the new location, characters, etc. and giving important information to the upcoming season, so it wasn't that big of a deal, as I had the idea of what the purpose was. Was I even right? I hope I was.

A really good episode nonetheless. And don't worry that this one didn't draw me in all that much. The first few episodes of the past 2 seasons have been the same way, so its nothing I was surprised about. Its better to get all the big questions from the previous season, as well as the establishing of things in the new season, out of the way so it doesn't get in the way later. Really good, and I love the new location by the way, as now they'll have to deal the hustle and bustle of NYC.

The 'silver surfer' as Marshall would call it (speaking of which, I love Marshall's character already!) is interesting and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of the mysterious 'person'.

Oh, and you put my poor Sara in a wheelchair, as well as Sonja in and out of a coma. You really are an evil bastard aren't you, Tony? Although, I get that feeling Sara might be healed by Jai... but that is just theory number one for this LONG season!

I'm glad to have already started up with the third season of this landmark MZP show!

This episode was really cool because before te season even technically starts, we get a bit of insight into what Jai had been doing over that eight month jump that we saw in the Season 2 finale. So this took place roughly seven months after him leaving Kendall's home, and then jumps to a one month later situation, which gives us a different look then we had in the Season 2 finale.

I just get the feeling this is going to be one hell of a game changing season, especially since I'm now nearly positive that Jai is invincible.

I feel that as a prologue, this sets up well because of the insight it gives up into that eight month jump and laso reminds us of the Season 2 finale ending. But with this insight, I'm sure we'll have to remember that this is also only Jai's part, as based on the Season 3 cast, there are going to be a bunch of new faces and happenings within PBH...

And like I said, the bar has been raised, so grading will be a lot tougher on my end. something like this would have gotten around an A, but it gets lower because this show has just raised my bar so high. That Season 2 finale nearly broke my grading scale, so its time to get harsh and really find those awesome episodes, and those ones that are only par.

The DSR - Christmas Special - Tales From The Black Hole

This was a great little break from all the action, gave us a Christmas themed episode (which I LOVE Christmas episodes!), and gave us a few answers.

This episode was a great way to revisit some of these past guess characters, but in an old way. Cole and Cara getting married at the end was amazing, and it gave you a sense of closure to Cole's story expecially, but at the same time, Cara's. What is more is that we get some more closure as to the Cochrane family, somewhat excluding Maggie though. But you never know, maybe we will later...

This was actually the first movie style script, like with no act breaks, that I've ever read. I'm really trying to figure out how in the hell I'm not getting bored with the reading of The DSR scripts because lately, episodes NEVER miss a beat, and keeps me in. Yet in the past DSR episodes and many episodes of other shows, it usually doesn't happen. I usually get bored with it after halfway through reading, but not anymore. The past 3-5 episodes I haven't and I consider that a huge and crazy statement to make, but it is true.

The DSR - Episode 2x22 - Reckoning

I think just might have been the greatest thing that I have EVER read!

Halfway through this episode, I thought to myself, what would happen if I had to stop reading? Thankfully, I didn't. I went straight through this beauty of a script in what I felt to be record timing. This one never missed a beat and I never found myself with a single scene that I felt to be boring, which I usually find at least one minor one in every script that I read. This finale hugely surpassed my expectations, as well as the bar that had been set from the past few episodes. I also felt this finale was far better then the S1 finale on terms of keeping me sucked in and in quality. Can we all take a moment and hail the god of script writing, Mr. Black?

I honestly have this feeling that Sonja is alive, despite the fact that Kendall put off the message that she wasn't. I hope that we see Quinn again as well, because there are a great few of unanswered questions about him. I also would like to see how things play out with the Kendall/Chase nonsense, although I'm sure Kendall will come out on top.

And this season's cliffhanger with the whole Eight Months Later thing and Jai being strapped into the chair. I'd be willing to bet that these people that have him are trying to find some way of capturing that strange energy inside of him. I'd be willing to bet one whole cookie on that one!

The attack on the PBH facility was absolutely epic and is probably one of the best things that has ever happened on this show. All along, you think that PBH is the one safe place and then bang, it isn't anymore and so many got killed or nearly got killed. How will the DSR recover from this tragic blow is the unanswered question on this front, and is definitely something that I'm striving to have answered for the sake of my overflowed brain.

For real, probably the best that I've ever read. Truly an epic script and one of which I'm still having trouble digesting. With how good this was, I can't wait to continue on and catch up on these next two seasons! The bar has been raised and set!

So Jai appears to be pretty muc invincible. I'd like to see him get is head blown off like the dude in Men In Black, and then it grow back. That would be fuckin' awesome!

Anyway, back to reality... somewhat...

Ahriman has finally met his match in that of Jai. It is nice to kind of understand why this is happening to Jai, apparently because of the Ahriman blood that was put within him at birth. So this Final Time is forthcoming and is something I'm interested in seeing how this plays out because whether they succeed or not in stopping everything, there are still more seasons, and like Eckhart said, this so called Final Time only happens once every 5 thousand years, when the planets aline.

I also wonder about Quinn and what part he will play in this upcoming finale because it appears he was forgotten about in this one, as he didn't make an appearance. It'll also be nice to see as to what role Kendall will play in this attack upon the Black Hole, as it would be stupid to forget that he never left the building before those alarms strated to go off.

The DSR - Episode 2x20 - At Rest

Another episode that surpased my expectations. Based on this season, expect grading to be a bit more difficult come S3 and S4...

And the moment we've all been waiting for... Kovas and Sonja meet and the truth behind how both Kovas and Sonja survived is revealed! Very good on how it was that Kovas survived the explosion. Never would have thought of it myself. That vampire trait blood changer thingy (whatever it was, I forget) was another great idea on to how Sonja survived. And of course, Kovas gets plastic surgery, which I figured, but Sonja knowing just from you know, knowing was great. I was waiting for her to say something like, 'Do I know you?', but her doing so would be somewhat cliche and it was better to just get all of thta out then anyway, as I'm sure these final 2 episodes will be crazy and packed enough.

I am yet again interested by the ending of this one and it sets up so well for this next one as we'll get to see what exactly Sonja needs Jai for and why she is breaking him out.

On top of that, I wonder now that Kendall isn't running the DSR anymore, what kind of roll he will play in these final 2 and hopefully beyond. Kendall is one character that I hope goes nowhere anytime soon.

The DSR - Episode 2x19 - Trap

This really must be my favorite episode so far this season. I feel this episode was a huge turn around from the previous, as well as represents another cliffhanger - with Jai getting shot.

This one gives an entire new side to the character of Quinn. I used to think he was this little rinky dink who went into hiding because he couldn't fend for himself. Yet now, you see that he can kick some major ass. I'm surprised that he shot Jai though, but at the same time, if he hadn't, god only knows what would have happened to both Ethan and Jai. I'm interested in finding out what this glow from Jai is...

Rhindhart being captured is awesome. I don't recall him ever getting captured by anyone really, and it is pretty cool to see how he really is this smart ass who just likes to screw with your head.

In the meantime, I know I keep saying it, but I really can't wait to get to the end of this season. If the rest is as good as this episode, its probably the bomb!

So this episode was pretty good. I felt as though this one didn't step up to the bar set by a few previous episodes though. I was expecting something huge, and I didn't feel that happened.

I was so happy when I started reading about what Ethan found. I was expecting an argument between the mother and daughter and possibly more, but instead it was easily covered up at the last minute. I would have liked it much better had the former that was mentioned had happened. I felt like it was an easy way out, per say. It would have been cool to see how Mia had handled it.

Also, unfortunately, I found myself bored in a few areas of the script, specifically in some of the parts with Kovas and company. At most points, it was just them talking about different things and information. It was kind of plain, and I didn't think it had that extra little pazazz...

I am interested to see what happens with Jai and Ethan. I wonder what he'll say to Mia as well. I guess I'll just have to keep reading and see. There is only 4 episodes left in this season, and I can't wait to see how it all plays out in the end. A very addicting series. It is so addicting that Angelo said that I was 'Cheating on Shackles with The DSR'! That was hilarious.

I'm going to try and finish this up in the next 2 days or so, but hopefully I'll live up to that statement...

Weeki Wachee - Episode 1x03 - The Intoxicating Beverage

I'm very happy to start picking up and reading this VS again. I very much love this, despite the fact that I've only read the first 3 episodes.

So after Cairo's first case, I'm very interested to see some more of thoses cases in the future. It took up much of the episode, but it didn't skip a beat and I found myself laughing at the other lawyer, as well as Pauline.

Singapore is definitely a class act. She s just that fun loving character that you would just be devasted if anything happened to. I get the feeling nothing bad will ever happen to Singapore because if she wasn't on the show, there is one prime character taken out of the mix and without her, I fear the show would lose a little bit of the funny factor (as I like to call it in this situation).

I liked how we got an episode less based around London and more so the other characters. We got to see a soft side to Yalgoo and Prague here too. I wonder if we'll ever see that prostitute again because they might be fighting over her!

The DSR - Episode 2x17 - The Scheme

We pick up with this little battle brewing over Quinn. Quinn is definitely an interesting character and I get the feeling that he knows something that he is trying to not let on to. Anyway, Ethan and Mia arrive and help make the Lupans retreat from the fight. Quinn is safe. Mia wanted to help, and I'm surprised that Ethan didn't think she was up to something right then.

On top of that, just before, we get a new Kovas. According to the famed guest star list, we have a different Kovas now, which makes me have a few ideas, like possible plastic surgery or something. You just never know with this show!

Chase is becoming suspicious, you can just tell. She gave Mia a few odd looks and I'm sure she will eventually discover that Mia was the one who had sent the codes to Sonja. I'm interested to see what Chase's reaction will be when and if she finds out about Mia.

And, Tony, you told me Rhindhart isn't going anywhere anytime soon? Well it appears that Mia REALLY wants to kill that bastard, so I'm wondering if your trying to trick me Mr. Black...

Shackles - Episode 3x03 - ~

This was quite an interesting episode. We got this little insight into both Verna's past, but as well as Epoch, Clarissa, Kylee, and Brett's. Not to mention how we finally get to see our new little healer in action.

What impressed me was how connected Verna was with Clarissa and other of our main characters. There isn't really anything to explain it. It was just so great how Verna's story was able to be morphed around all of our leads, while never seeing her in the past seasons and in flashbacks.

This rift between Kylee and Brett gives me the feeling that it will tear them apart as a couple. I'm interestedto see if Kylee and team will ever get over brett's betrayal, and even more, think they can trust him again.

Now my only question is to how Jonathan will get out of this memory. On top of this, I wonder whether or not the memory will continue to repeat itself or if he will begin to relive the past itself.

God, sometimes I think this show just needs a wikipedia page...

So we pick up with more of the Lupan/Brothehood war, which ultimately, I'm happy we got back to. Rhindhart returning is great too because I've also felt him to be a very creepy and sinister character on the show. In the end though, I hope we'll see him bite the dust. He is one of those characters I would love to see die because I know he would go out with a bang.

Jai and Sonja are becoming all the more closer now. I'm interested to see if there will be another moment that breaks their reforming bond, or if they will continue to grow closer until they... well, you know, Mr. Black, especially since your an addict of it! I would like to see these two together though. It would be an interesting relationship that we didn't get to see all that long in the past.

I liked seeing Chase again. I wonder if she will find out what her daughter is up to... Speking of daughter/parent relationships, I also can't wait for Sonja to see her father again. I hope she does and I'm sure she will, but I feel things will be incompete if they never meet again.

A really good episode and I can't wait to see how this part ends!

A great finale to this season of Daredevil. To be honest, I liked the Volume I finale a little better, but I liked this one quite a bit noentheless.

I felt like this episode got boring every now and again. It had me sucked in at the beginning and end, but as far as the middle was concerned, I wasn't really sucked into it as an episode.

Pretty much I don't have much to say here. I wonder what it is that Karen has to do, as well as what this new volume will mean for the series as a whole. Project X sounds quite interesting and I get this strange feeling that we'll be saying a lot of new superheroes on the show next season.

I thought that Bullseye being killed was a nice plus, even though he is one of my favorites. Also, where did that devious Elektra go? There are so many questions that need to be answered and I can't wait for them to be!

I'm kind of speechless, because there are so many ways that this could turn out. I'm interested to see what happens...

The season rarely faltered. This season failed to get a single A++, but with nearly half of the season getting an A+, I think a party should be in order!

The DSR - Episode 2x15 - Man Down

This episode was an awesome follow up to the previous.

The main thing that catches my attention is the ending. We had so many great things stuffed in that last act or so, that it began to make you think about different possibilities.

First off, we had Sara with energy pouring out of her, and then energy going into Jager. Now, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Ahri. Jager's comment about Sara came just in time for the red energy thing to come into effect and I thought that maybe Sara still has some of that Ahri left inside of her, but it doesn't but it's ugly face unless there is a near death or anger induced moment.

Then, Kendall. His actions I have questioned since the last episode. If he dislikes these Ultra guys, why join them? I mean, I would like to assume that The DSR has the resources to get their team members out of those situations. But nonetheless, we get him slumped, not breathing. He shouldn't be dead, not this soon, as I don't think we have even close to his full story yet. But, it will honestly be dissapointing if Kendall becomes Ahri-Kendall because I wish that whole possessing the team members thing could just stick with one person. It makes the situation more unique that way, but after it doing so to multiple people on the same team, I get the feeling things would become a bit annoying.

And finally, Ethan. To make it simple, I was happy that he was the one to kill Jager. All the pain and suffering he was put through and he finds that strength to kill the man, while all others have failed. So, although I'm surprised to say so, GO ETHAN!

This was another great episode that I feel had some of the best pacing of the season...

As a whole, this episode was great. A few high points of the episode was the ending. Closing out on Matthew like that was a great idea that I feel has set us up for a doozy of a finale episode. On top of that, the little montage and song at the end hit the spot and is what I felt like made the episode. Great song selection for sure, as that is what set the mood and it just felt perfect and was so right for the scenes.

We really get this whole new idea on people in this episode. I feel like I've been prooved wrong because with what was show of Karen in this episode, I feel like her and Foggy are perfect for eachother again. Plus, I'm sure that taking care of this child should only bring them closer.

In the end, this penultimate episode seems to have made a great set-up for the finale!

So I didn't like this episode as much as the previous, but it was pretty good and is worth it to read.

We really get a look into Amanda and now I'm starting to understand some of the stuff, especially with her, that is going on. So she remembers all of the insanely important things in her life, like family and friends, but not most events, which makes sense as to why she is there, even though she had her memory wiped. So I'm very happy that whole deal was cleared up!

Anyway, we get that little look into her past and at least we see she has a soul now. I see Amanda as possibly changing her ways following her moment with Foggy and hopefully that'll happen. Sometimes she is just too crazy for me.

On terms of the ending. very mysterious and very creepy. My only wonder is, Melissa had said that Matthew will kick the myserious persons ass, and then she said 'my son will kill you'. Did she mean Scheurring or was she actually talking about Matthew, who he she had just mentioned??

Only the two part finale left and like the previous season, I can't wait to get to reading them!

Daredevil - Episode 2x06 - Man & God

This is probably up there as one of my favorites of the series!! Things are starting to pick back up with this, so hopefully it'll stay up to this level...

I liked how Loki played so many mind tricks on Matthew. Loki is the god of mischief and in most forms of entertainment that I've seen the character of Loki in, it doesn't really fit the entire dark mischief aspect, which is really what I think Loki to be all about. I felt Loki was represented so well in this episode. I really hope that we'll see him again. It was just so great how what seemed like failing for Matthew was a passing grade with Loki. I was waiting for Loki to just blurt out 'A for effort!'

My only issue with this episode and with the series as a whole is the timeline. The timeline to me makes very little sense right now because didn't Amanda jsut get her memory wiped? So why is she right there on Matthew bedside in the hospital? That just caught me as 'wait a second...' moment.

Overall, beside this bit of a confusing timeline for the series as a whole, this probably ranks up with one of my favorite episodes of the SERIES so far...

The DSR - Episode 2x14 - Recompense

Another solid episode from The DSR stable. I might as well stop saying that, because that is so for nearly every single episode of this damn show! Its just SO great...

So, not much to say on this one. I really enjoyed how we got a little break from some of the bigger events of the past few episodes. The only thing we really saw related to that was with Sonja, but it didn't seem like the focus in this one, which is just a nice break from that action.

I enjoyed to get a look at the almost forgotten Ultra group from way back in 1x05 - The Ultra Directive. For real, I almost forgot all about them and as soon as Kendall muttered the word 'Ultra', I remembered ad thought, 'FINALLY!!' On top of that, I'm a HUGE Michael Emerson fan. As in, I'd be pissed if they killed him off of Lost. So, I'm quite interested to see how much of a prime character he becomes in the future of the season and hopefully the series! I felt like he was the perfect fit for that character. Now all your gonna tell me is that he auditioned for the part of Ethan way back when! (Comic-Con 2009 Lost Panel joke. If you haven't seen it, then go watch it!!)

I did have a few problems with this one though. I felt Jai was the most Sawyer-ish then in a LONG time. It didn't really stand out until he made the comment to the Lupans about Chewbacca, and then I realized, 'wait, he's been like almost this whole episode, with his personality and reactions.'

This isn't really as much of a problem, but a question. Who is this Petacchi person that Mia mentioned at the end of the episode. I might have missed that name, but I also looked in the guest stars for the episode on the forum and it didn't say that name at all. Or was this meant to confuse me??

Overall, not my favorite by far, but not quite my least favorite either. I just felt like this episode needed that little extra 'zing!' that I just wasn't feeling, in my opinion...

This was another great episode from you, Angelo.

Honestly, every time I finish up one of these, I find myself speechless, and it is SO disturbing how drawn into this I can get. Angelo, you brainwasher!!

I'm very satisfied to what I hope is just the beginning of Spike's story. He was a character introduced early in the stor,y but we only saw him in flashbacks every now and again. We finally get a Spike-centric episode that I felt lived up to my anticipation. And this is, although an animal is smart. And by the way I see it, he can understand both human speech and writing, which I think is 100% creepy.

Now I think Kaeto is just trying to get to the inside of The Annulus. She appears to be wanting everyone to think she can be trusted, only to pounce and put another crazy plan in motion. I see that plan being put in motion to close out the season. This is of course, if my the theory is correct or even anywhere close.

Now onto the Brett and Kylee relationship. Now, in the past, I used to think they were just right for eachother. However, now I think they are nowhere close. They've married, Brett isn't staying loyal to her, let alone the entire Annulus team. I mean, no affair is great, but he is doing things that seem like an affair, as well as ultimately ruin his amount of trust coming from all of those around him. This situation is something i'm interested to see played out since I'm getting that feeling that you, Angelo, will give us some wild twist on things.

Oh, and I wonder why the dog was after her, as well as why Kylee said 'Maxwell'...

Well, I've been told multiple times that the resolution to events in 2x11 would happen in this one. They did, and I got all of that... and more!!

So lets start from the beginning. Kendall is heartbroken... looks like he lost his first and only lover!! Kidding. Anyway, this honestly hits everyone in The DSR insanely hard. I'm sure it hit the reader's quite hard as well.

Well, then we get Ethan saying that it was Sara this entire time. We knew that, but they didn't it. That really made me realize how easily Kendall and company can be convinced, excluding Mia of course. She stood by her own thoughts throughout the ordeal, and it turns out she was right. It wasn't Sara, it was the Ahri.

I was kind of surprised by how easily Carson forgave Kendall. I know they've worked together for years, but that is all the more reason for Kendall to have listened to that logic in the first place. But then again, this is also me craving for a 'Carson kicking ass' moment at some point or another. Maybe one day we'll get it...

Seeing Rhindhart again was pleasant, as well as the big payoff at the end of the episode. So Kovas has been playing us all this entire time. Interesting there, as although I thought Kovas to be someone you couldn't really trust, I never thought it to happen in this way. My only question is how did Sonja manage to survive, as well as her father in that car explosion. On top of that, I wonder what the outcome of this will be, on terms of how much of the Brotherhood race will survive. I wonder whether or not there were any outside of those limits for that blast.

Enjoyed this episode a lot. A few up in the air things. Basically, a few 'how in the hell could this work in the story' type deal. I feel Anton's deathed was played out nicely. Also, like I was told, I think if I had read this one before 2x12, I probably would have liked 2x12 a bit better. Only 9 more left this season!!

Now this is starting to get a bit better. My favorite since 2x01, which remains at the top fro the season.

I loved seeing Deadpool. The way his character was written was just so perfect!! I'm perosnally a fan of Deadpool, so I loved the part where he addresses the readers. Exactly like they do every now and then in the comics.

Now that Matthew has been told that he will die, I wonder what how it'll affect both his personality and his newly refurbished friendship with Foggy and Karen... And now that Loki has appeared, I can't help but wonder whether or not Matthew will even choose one of those four. Knowing Loki, I get the feeling Matthew won't get out of things easily...

So we finally get to see those 6 months we missed. At least with what happened with Matthew himself. What we saw was interesting, and I hope we'll get to see some of that of the other characters like Scheuring or Wade.

Although some of the episode was stuff we have seen already, somehow, it didn't get boring at all for me. But at the same time, it was from another, previously unseen point of view.

A great episode. Maybe the season will start going in the right direction for me now...
